    With Tmac gone and Artest not exactly showing what we brought him here to do... Battier is doing what he always does. He is doing what is needed. This is why he is one of the three players on this team that I would consider untouchable. Guys like Battier help make the difference between a good team and a great team.

    All that time with the shrink is finally paying off. He finally has overcome his fear of failure, so he's branching his game out to include things other than defense. Of course, now we can blame him for losing games!

    Battier was a beast on offensive end in his duke time. :eek:

    Battier isnt too athletic but against who he's guarding he's usually the taller player with a height and reach advantage, which enables him to get blocks.

    Battier scored 20 points a game at Duke his senior year. He shot above 48% twice with the Grizzlies. Maybe its just me but I'd rather an aggressive 45% than a hesitant 50%.
