Nash probably belongs in the top 10, not top 5. He is still incredibly good. I watched part of the 4th quarter against the Clippers and Nash clearly remains an elite player.
1. Lebron James 2. Dwayne Wade 3. Kobe Bryant 4. Chris Paul 5. Dwight Howard 6. Tim Duncan 7. Carmello Anthony 8. Kevin Garnett 9. B. Roy 10. K. Durant
hmm I would have to have 2 list. One for big men and one for all around players. 1)Dwight Howard 2)Pau Gasol 3) Kevin Garnett 4) Bosh 5) Eric Dampier err Tim Duncan I mean. 1)Kobe (Can score at will but chooses to only do so in the 4th in order to get teammates involve.) 2)Lebron 3)Wade 4) Pierce 5)Chris Paul/Deron (about the same)
I'd love to see a single reason why Roy should ever rank higher than Melo. I know this board has an intimate relationship with him (the game winner+the first round series), but seriously there isn't a single facet of the game he is better than Melo at.
Roy is the better passer and has better intangibles, like leadership. But I do agree Melo is better. Top 5 Big men in the NBA though. 1. Duncan 2. KG 3. Yao 4. Dwight 5. Dirk.
I don't see why people are putting Durant in the top 10. He hasn't even made the playoffs yet and is shooting 36% this year.
He just can't do as much now so he picks when to attack. He shoots a lot more jumper now days. A younger kobe would take it to the rim a lot more.
