you can be a fan of your team without having crazy expectations.

is the best clipper fan in the world suppose to think they'll win a title every year?

Give us a reason to like him, aside from the fact that we force him to wear our Rockets Jersey even though he disgraces it.

Tracy reminds me of T.O. They both have lots of talent. The problem is they are chemistry killers and are cancers in the locker room. T.O did'nt get traded because he did'nt have the talent, but because he was killing the team chemistry. Dallas did what was best for the team regardless of talent. Team chemistry overrides individual talent all day.

    TMac 17 13.60%
    #3 21 16.80%

Ummm, the thing is that in my honest opinion, Tracy McGrady has tried his best to manage a frail body, and TMac on the other hand had his HEY days when he was supposedly better than Kobe. But #3 on the other hand is neither's fault because it had done worse to others. Car Laundry on the other hand is a lazy bearded overpaid franchise player who was once stuffed by the rim.

    did i miss anything?

Tracy's not a Cancer, just a wuss. Tracy's not a selfish, I don't think he wants the attention either but he is incredibly cocky and arrogant, It's just in his nature to be a flat out drama queen and crybaby.

Owens wants attention and the touches, T-Mac doesn't care that much about the touches, but he does want a huge role.

Let's see here.....why would someone who plays organized basketball...

    Like somebody who....

-Throws his team under the bus.
    -Avoids Contact at all cost
    -Doesn't play defense
    -Doesn't Hustle
    -is a volume scorer

Tell me who would want to idolize somebody like that?

Yeah I'm a Yao only fan. You know I've just been around supporting this team since 92', Yep Yao-Only fan for sure.

Sorry, but I have more respect for Karl Malone as a basketball player than Tracy McGrady, keep in mind I'm talking about basketball player here at least Malone worked hard and was tough. Tracy's the complete opposite, Clearly T-Mac is the better human though, so I'm not a T-Mac hater now right?

    To straighten things:
He has yet to quit on the team. I mean if you want to hold that one third season of last year against him for good, then please. Personally I do not count his injuries in. If he's injured, I can overlook that drama.

    2. He shouldn't take it out on his teammates I agree. ESPECIALLY not through the media.
BUT last year Artest and Alston wasn't in sync with team chemistry either. He was not the only one being a pain in the ar§e.

    3. 2 times and I think he did that because he loved to stay with the Rockets so I don't dish him the Bad Wolf card just yet.

I like TO, he was pretty funny and creative in his celebrations.
He talked trash but he backed it up.
Let's not forget TO did play in the Super Bowl with a major injury.

If Tracy could emulate TO's showmanship that would be good. Nobody felt sorry for TO.

I know people here are happy Ron Artest left, but that dude is 1000x more entertaining than Tmac.

All the Ron 'haters' the same people who are the first ones trying to call him up on Carmichael's show.

    hypocrites.

    1. False, He HAS quit on a team. He even admitted to it...
    2. He HAS thrown his teammates under the bus more than once.
    3. He Pissed on management, and in turn, Rocket fans...

    Dear knote32
I respect your view on Tracy. However, IMO it depends on the angle we see
    things.

    1. I meant the Rockets. What I caught up is that he likes the Rockets. Had his contract prolonged here once.
I can understand that you meant the situation in Orlando, even in Toronto. I don't see myself qualified enough to talk about the past.
    2. It's how you see it. He has stated a few times that it was 'on him' because he thought outside of Yao there was little help in the playoffs. We had those discussions earlier so I won't start that again.
He stated he has never played with Superstars like Shaq or Garnett. That is true. What he said was out of frustration and I think he should be told to shut his mouth but IMO it wasn't entirely 'throwing teammates under the bus' because I think it was justified in some situations. However, in recent years he has got couple of very good role player as teammates.
    3. His actions were questionable and he did a mistake there. I think he did that because he wanted to stay here in Houston, with his family. We will never forget. What I can do is to forgive him because I think he can help the Rockets. Not as a leader. Not as a warrior. But as a mature veteran who can assist Battier in leading the team.

I felt sorry for him in the final days of JVG. Not last year.
