add Camby to the list. Do not forget Yao. Ray Allen and Grant Hill are both renaissance men. BTW - I suspect if McG had pursued education he'd be accomplished academically. Really.
Maybe you meant NBA Live? Live has whacked out stats so maybe DD would be awesome there In all seriousness, what do you mean by "smart"? If its IQ its probably hard to gauge, I mean IQ isn't really measured in the combine right? If I would hazard a guess I'd say it would proabably be Battier or Okafor. Those guys would have landed a good, high paying career out of basketball, and good grades generally equal good IQ. If you meant EQ/streetsmart, I would say Bogut, Steve Nash, Battier and Baron Davis. Those guys always seems to be aware of their surroundings, and make decisions swiftly. Especially Nash and Davis, they were able to expand their earnings out of basketball.
The guy can speak fluent italian and spanish and also speaks french. I think you have to have some intelligence be able to do that.

Pau Gasol on NBA.com biography: "Planned to become a doctor and attended a year of medical school at the University of Barcelona at age 18 until pro basketball changed his plans"
Well its safe to label some people as smart based on their school academics, but in reality theres a difference between book smart and real life/street smart.
AI, for the epic "Practise" speech. Antoine Walker - you will have to be a real big on IQ to bow 120 mil.
