Gasol, who could probably become a surgeon after the NBA, Okafor had a 3.8 GPA and graduated with honors, Battier went to Duke and majored in Theology.
What a useless topic. Lol. Social science is the study of human behavior. Setting variables and test controls to evaluate human behavior isn't rocket science, in fact, it's what most females do for fun. Just because you have the patience to sit around in a lab coat doesn't mean you have a phenomenal IQ. You have to factor in testosterone counts as well which work against Asian men like Jeremy Lin. Kobe Bryant, in the real world, would have the audacity to take risks and make decisions Jeremy Lin would wet himself thinking about. That's not to say Jeremy wouldn't be a great video game programmer or data collector if he wasn't a baller. But he's a system guy. Both are analytical guys but to me, Kobe IQ > Jeremy IQ any day of the week. Killer instinct requires brain power.
also, f/c sean williams, who was on the nets for a couple of years, is very smart as well. i remember reading that even though he was a headcase and lacked discipline for school and basketball he still managed to ace his classes and tests in college.
kobe didn't go to college. Jermey Lin Emeka Oakafor (Went to my old highschool. ppl tell me he was a math genius. hear that he could have been rich even if he didn't play in the NBA.) Shane Battier
This guy is the smartest. He made some more money by being the future father of LBJ. LBJ will give his mom and daddy a lot of money.
No, I didn't know that - thanks for sharing. I'll have to remember the stupid frat guy "Steve_Francis Rules" knows next time I try to rely on my own first hand knowledge of many disciplines in the arts including architecture.
Tri-lingual Italian, Spanish, and English Has profound interviews. Student of the game, superlative basketball IQ, and really presents himself well as a b-ball player
I just read somewhere that DeShawn Stevenson got a 450 the first time he took it. 450! Stevenson averaged 30.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 6.2 assists a game his senior year. He led the West to a 146–120 win in the McDonald's All-American high school game in March with a game-high 25 points. He also won the slam-dunk crown. Stevenson flirted with skipping college and declaring his eligibility to go pro, a decision that upset his mother. The Jayhawks lost their future star when a surprisingly impressive jump in his SAT score caught the attention of the Educational Testing Service, which "red-flagged" it, making him temporarily ineligible to play. Stevenson could have appealed and explained how he had managed to improve his score from 450 as a sophomore to 1,150 as a senior.[2] Instead, he took the SAT a second time and received less than a 650, well below the NCAA minimum of 820.[3] Taken from Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeShawn_Stevenson
My bad - that is pretty funny. Hadn't seen that one. I don't have much of a chance to watch a lot of TV these days unless it's basketball but I do love a good rerun from Seinfeld or Arrested Development for a laugh every now and again. Sorry for the curt response. If it means anything, that was probably the most amicable response of the many I was considering....as you probably figured out, sarcasm doesn't come very easy to me.
It's Ronny, man. Nothing he says ever makes any sense. And there's always some racial stereotype in everything (note his comment about Asian men).
