    This a 100 times!! I'm sure Parsons let his ego get the best of him at times, but the problem was definitely minutes related as well. McHale ran our starters into the ground with his 7 man rotation, a few minutes for Casspi / Garcia or whoever here and there does not count.

    If we want the team to go anywhere, the defensive wing needs to be James Harden.

    Don't give a **** if it was 8th. Too many variables;

    1) dal D scheme vs ours
    2) was he defending the best perimeter or was Marion or someone else? Meaning he's defending the parsons, sefoloshas, etc.
    3) do other teams respect his D enough to not attack him?

    The issue with vets like Vince Carter, Paul Pierce and Shawn Marion is that, at their age, a sudden drop-off due to injury or physical decline is a distinct possibility. They may be well one year, but gone the next.

    Look at Marcus Camby, for example. He did well for the Rockets even while battling nagging injuries, but next year with the Knicks he got injured and was out of shape and totally ineffective.

    That's what we gonna do. Hire asst coaches and get defensive players to make up for the lack of coaching. I think any player can be in a defensive beast. Look at the Spurs.

    Yeah, Thabo is washed up. He's 30 and had an injury, but he's washed up. :rolleyes:

    Marion is 36 and is not the same player he once was.

    Your value system of players is disturbing.
