I always like the reverse-posting evnvy in which the old guys with low post counts engage from time to time. It is refreshing after the huge post envy explosion of 2000-2001, most likely initiated by *.
yeah i'm gonna have to say ClutchDave is the winner. single digit member with single digit posts. who are members #2 and #3 since 4 and 5 are apparently ClutchDave and dream?
I think for some reason, Clutch was originally "only" No. 3 or 9 or so, and later changed that...I might be wrong, though.
I rue waiting a day to register at the new site back in Feb 99 and getting tagged with a 3 digit user number. There are no users #2 and #3, and I'm guessing that since Clutch's name is "Dave", ClutchDave is just an unused handle of his.
i think the winner would have to be 'dream': Date Registered: 02/12/1999 Member #4 Posts: 51 (0.02 ppd) Last Post: 12-18-1999 07:50 PM LINK TO THE THREAD
Does anyone get embarrassed by their amount of posts? I realized I was getting up there in posts last week and felt weird about it, I've never had this many posts on one website.
i've been here since '97, but rarely posted. definitely around when it was CC.com. i didn't originally re-register until '01 or so. i've only been real active on the board for the past year-year 1/2.
Wow, good to see all the low member #'s coming out, and to know they've been here all this time after all. I couldn't lurk that much... couldn't keep my mouth shut that long. I've been around almost since the beginning, but started posting a lot more now that we had a Hangout. There's not too much I could say about the games that someone else couldn't say better, especially now that I'm not in Houston and can't watch that many of them. My member # is not quite two-digit, but it's a cool number and I feel incredibly fortunate to have gotten it.
Same thing happened to me, except I waited three months rather than 1 day to re-register (joined originally in 97-98). Same number of digits as you though. '99ers REPRESENT!
