I thought my shoot from the hip and and accuracy would get me some love. Most will will not agree with what I say but honesty is a b****.

    VesceySux and DoD,

I am kinda aware that it's done semi-formally. The problem is, it's very difficult to count the votes by reading the posts. And they only represent the more vocal people's opinions. It's a lot easier to do it with polls.

And what do think of the winner titles and all-star thread ideas?

The funniest post/poster I've EVER saw here was from a guy named: JAG.

Which I think is the same person as MacBeth. Not sure.

The post was a "post game report in Seattle."

I'm gonna have to go with some of my buddies here:

    codell
    Batman Jones
    Kim

That's all I have to say about that.

Oh, but you guys should leave Yetti alone. He doesn't particularly like me, and I'm sure some of you who are dogging him have had similar experiences with the man as I; but give him a chance and he might grow on you.

Sorry about the 2 consecutive posts, but edit isn't working...

Yup David, Macbeth's initials are J.A.G. and that was a former incarnation of the same poster. And since you've reminded me, I'm gonna have to add

    DavidS
    and
    MacBeth

    to my "respectables."

I treat Yetti's post with a grain of salt and I never pick on him.

Just let him be, for the most part.

    DavidS, Sherlock and crash5179

    I am flattered. Thank you.

And crash, yes I did see Bill Russell play (on TV, not in person) way back when.

Watching the Rockets play this year was depressing enough, so I didn't visit this forum very much during the second half of the season.

As for my list of favorites, see Sherlock's post. I enjoy reading everyone he mentions.

    1. Who cares? You belong on a step below me, anyway, so I don't worry about your feelings. Besides, we haven't had a good b****fest in a while...I was trying to stir something up. You and Crisco have had a basketball ass-kicking reservation for some time now - get on it.

    2. There is good money in the anti-heypee business. "How to win friends and influence people" is an apt title.

    3. You are either despised or loved. I am either despised (but by "lesser" people than your hate club) or irrelevant...which is better?

    MacB,

Quit your whining...you are a blowhard who doesn't like to engage in Louis XIV discussions...and we all know there is nothing worse than that...uh...yeah...

    LOL

Of course you and Batman Jones and Tex are my favorite HANGOUT Forum posters. Your "Boy Who Cried WMD" was classic. Enjoyed that very much:D

Don't misinterpret my praise for you as a slight to clutch ;)

James Brown might not really have been the hardest working man in show business but the title seemed to fit.

You have done an outstanding job moderating the forum and deserve the praise. With that in mind there is no debating that you are right, Clutch is a bad ass for putting up such a classy forum for all of us fans to enjoy.

I really enjoy reading Dakota, Yetti, DavidS, Codell, Leebigiz, Dallas Rocket, MacBeth, and others. I least enjoy those who have not a shread of objectivity. I am convinced that some are either relatives of the players, close friends of the players, or the players themselves.

Finally some love! I said months ago that Randolph was going to make Wallace expendable, and you go today and read espn insider and they're quoting my exact words. I wasn't the first, but I said Thomas would be traded because of a) his contract and b) his playing time issue. What happened? We know the result. Going back to the Rasheed situation, I like Rasheed Wallace, but maybe not as much as most on this board. I think he has hall of fame talent, but seems content on 18pt and 8 rebs. How can a guy of his caliber shoot more 3pt shot than ft's? I will say this, he's one of the few players in the league at that size that would be a hell of a sf. His game is more of a 3 anyway. His rebounding ,despite being long, atheletic is pretty at most avg. Everey night, with his range, could be a problem for most 3's in the league. If Portland was smart and no disrespect to Pippen, but Wallace along with Randolph should play the 3 and 4 spots. Randolph is the inside brut and wallace is the rangy player. If the Blazers are serious about getting rid of Wallace, i hope the Rockets make some kind of bid for him.
