Who is the most respectable Clutch BBS senior member this season?

I would cast my vote on Gregonomics coz when he tells ppl to stop posting usually they really do. I call that respect. Too bad he's not a senior member yet.

Mine are similar to DoD's. In no particular order:

tpl - his in-depth Rockets posts are great reads and sorely missed right about now

verse - I still smile when I think of his non-stop "Shandn" references a few years back

aelliot - he knows a bunch of stuff

So, basically, the good ones are the guys who don't have capitals in their nicks.

Dishonorable mention:

devilpartner - he is definitely not respected or really respectable, but I often agree with his basketball takes on a basic level...it is just that 95% of his post content has nothing to do with said base. Poor guy...he also dribbles funny.

Maybe next season I will actually post more Rockets stuff...I will actually be able to see them play for once.

 

Over the past year only one poster has had the same battle cry for change in the Rockets Team and type of Game they play. He has never failed to be straight forward with his opinions and as things turned out his , what seems forever, posting is about to become the new direction.
I vote for Yetti as most respected , non staff senior poster of the last year.

David S - Always has great B-Ball takes and is never abrasive. My #1 personal fav poster in the GAF.

Gater - Great with stats and analysis.

Jayz750 - Very level-headed poster. Doesn't overeact after a bad loss like alot of people.

Honorable Mention for Free Agent. No one ever mentions him, but he does alot of work finding articles from all over the country about our Rockets. I definitely appreciate his hardwork and dedication.

 

You've got to be really creative to get to 400 posts (min. for Senior Member status) by posting with only two words.

No one ever mentions him?!? I mentioned him about a month ago in a thread that was exactly like this! I should be in his will!

I respect anyone who's a rocket fan ..but I dont want anyone who's not... to stop posting.I gotta have someone to hate.
So here's my short list of good posters.
#1 HP because he knows basketball.
#2 Codell because hes a good poster and he knows where to get beer at wholesale.
#3 Smeg because he plays good basketball..for an aussie.
#4 R2K Because he a good photographer if you can get him away from the keg o Shiner Bock.
#5 Lynus.. but I think he gets all of his material from Princess.
#6 Behad and CriscoKid because they play tough b-ball.
#7 Ron413 and Chickenboy because they wouldnt back down from a 325 lb beast.
#8 Antisonic because he can hit a 3.
#9 Kam because he can hit the roof of the gym with a shot and still think it had a chance to go in.
#10 Sonny because he knows how to orgainize a pick up game.
#11 B because he knows how to win a prediction game.
#12 Trader Jorge because he can hit a jumper.
#13 Tonaaayyy because he finally got a rebound after 5 games,
#14 Everybody who played the pickup game and everybody who went to the Sonics game after the season had gone to hell in a handbasket..who cheered the Rockets on anyway.
#15 Fatty Fat b*stard because hes a cool guy.
#16 All of the above get my respect because they give a hoot about Houston Rockets basketball.

 

I hit a three point jumper in somebody's eye when they expected me to drive it in. I, honestly was surprised it went in.

But I can name some posters that are objective, that I respect.

BobFinn* - Wise.
ChenZen - Very objective!!! Very technical!
codell - Knows the psychology of the game!
GATOR - Great analysts, tells it like it is!
heypartner (not always objective) - Hot and cold. But has given me insight to x's and o's and the dynamics of coaching.
Kim - Understands the game!!!
Manny Ramirez - Objective insights.
ZRB - Truthfully brutal! Takes no prisoners; objective! Has mellowed.

If I could put together a coaching staff with this group, I would. Dynasty!

there are too many good posters to choose from. the "clutch crew" are good, our sources (when they post) are always a must read, and most of the old hands are also "on the ball".

i'm changing my "votes" a little to best ROY poster:

#1 "windandsea" - you (almost) automaticly read any thread she created. our queen from china who provides us with stuff that we would never find out otherwise.

#2 "tim" - the man runs the public (off-court) face of the rockets. Excellent that a senior member of the rox staff actually reads & replies to our posts. always interesting & informative to read... and to dispell a lot of the BS floating around.

#3 "macbeth" - always well thought out & structured post. normally a nice long read. Not sure if I should actually include macbeth in my ROY ratings, as it's a new username covering for the fact he (i think "he") could no longer log in as his original login. Was a good poster under the original name too (i think it was Behad, but my memory is a little hazy after a night on the turps..)
