Ok, I had no votes, until I voted for myself. Under no circumstances should I be mentioned with the other posters on that list, I am clearly the most overrated poster in that poll. And I think everyone is voting for Cat just to piss him off.
I nominate ROCKSMILLENNIUM... if I just had not voted for The Cat already.... By the way, Cat, you seem like a nice guy. Don't worry about this thread, I think it should not be taken as seriously as you seem to take it. My guess is that people just voted for you 1) because you are one of the people who post a lot so a lot of the people who voted might not even know the other ones and Jeff is on of the Admins so he can find out if you voted for him so you were the only logical choice 2) because sometimes you seem to BLINDLY defend your favorite players (Cat, Mo) even if they really sucked (which is normal, everyone (except me) sucks once in a while) - I guess that irritates some people sometimes because it goes along with criticizing other people using a different standard...but that is the privilege of the fan, isn't it... 3) your reaction to this silly poll kind of indicates that you might be taking yourself just a little bit too seriously...your reaction reminds me a little bit of when Oeilpere got pissed off that someone actually doubted him and said that he would only start a mailing list or something and not post on the board anymore - there are what? 4000 registered users here? and 19 people voted for you, so relax, if that means all others love your posts, you can't let them down Take it as an honor, at least people have noticed you!! And please don't quit posting .

Well you know what they say laughter is food for the soul! And while I don't know if I'm the most overrated I wouldn't mind being nominated! A write in vote is just fine though! The proper way is "except for me" but take heart! I say "except me" and I will until the day I die, proper grammar be damned!
Cat: Take it from someone who has stressed over stuff like this in the past, it's not worth it. I think that you are a great poster and if you quit posting, this whole BBS will suffer. People are just voting for you to piss you off. Reminds me of the time that I did a forgettable thread called "Most Disliked Poster Since August 2001". I used myself as one of the choices, and surprise....I was the winner. I know now that people voted for me to get a reaction. They are doing the same to you, so quit worrying about it and giving them the satisfaction of seeing you get worked up.
Cat- I'll admit I voted for you. I respect your passion for this team and I definetely want you to continue posting... but... There are some things you have said in the past which I have totally disagreed with ie: 1) We discussed Stevie & Cat palying defense in the off-season or very early part of this season and I basically said they sucked and you disagreed. 2) Your hatred of the Lakers and more specifically thinking the Lakers will get swept by the Spurs Now again Cat on the board you are very opinionated (like many of us) and the only reason I voted for you is we disagree quite often. Again don't leave the board your opinions are great (I don't agree with all of them) but you still have good posts.
