i think its collier without a doubt. This guy is a slow bigman with a jumper and we already have 2 power forwards in KT and Mo' and we have dream and cato also we got los who can backup at the 4 or 5. Collier seems like the oddman out for me. Bryce Drew is my runner up. I like his game but he just doesnt have a chance to grow as a player with the rockets. We'd be doing him a favor by trading him

Collier is not a slow big man- he has very nice footspeed for a guy his size. He may never be the starting big man on a championship team, but he will be a very serviceable 7th to 8th man off the bench, which every team needs. Looking at our future, he is better than every backup big man we have IMO, as we don't have a backup center after Cato and I would much rather have Collier than KT. To say Collier is least valuable after never seeing him in an NBA game is as stupid as it can get.

    Tell 'em Cat!!

Collier can run reasonably well and he provides that valuable "change-up". A big man who can draw the opposition away from the hoop.

Let's talk about Rogers; We have Mo and KT at PF and then it's a choice between Bullard or Rogers. Bullard is a situational big man who is gonna get minutes to play his role - a role Rogers can't play - and the role Rogers CAN play is pretty much taken by KT and Mo. Rogers is FAR too weak to play C.

Looks like Rogers is pretty expendable.

I'd say Drew is the most expendable, then Rogers, and lastly Collier. I like Collier, but hes still a rookie. Bullard is a seasoned veteran, a true Rocket, who has been tried and tested through times of adversity and peace. He is a true Rocket at heart, and it would suck to lose him. Thats why we can let go of drew, a injured guy, and an untested ROOK.

Cat if you think collier is better than kenny then you have problems. Ask any GM in the league who they would rather have and they would say kenny. For your info I've followed collier's career since he was at indiana and he was a dissapointment at georgia tech and will be a dissapoint in the NBA so as for you saying im judging this guy when I havents even seen him play is wrong. Also a guy who was good in college is not necesarilly gonna do good in the nba .

I watched Collier at GT too, and from the fans responses they were not disappointed with him at all. I'd like to take a poll around the league like you said, cause I'd bet a lot most would want Collier. KT is probably better than Collier right now- maybe for the first month or two of the season at least. But Collier's upside far surpasses that of KT's IMO, and that's why I'd rather have him. Also, I said you were judging him before seeing him in the NBA. That is not saying that you've never seen him at all.

Brad Miller just got paid $4mmillion dollars per season for 3 years.

Jason Collier could very easily be compared to Brad Miller (except he's left handed and his shooting style is awkward, not to say he doesn't make them, it just looks funny [IMG] )

Maybe Collier won't work out just how we hope, but maybe he will! And if he becomes as good as Miller was this year then I'd say that he's a success and a valuable player!

Who's going to backup Cato next year? Collier has value simply because he's the incumbent backup! And don't tell me we'll just get a "dominant" big man in next years deep big man draft, because we may well not - especially if we make the playoffs - and are there enough "dominant" big men to last till mid-first round?

    Collier has value!

Rogers and Drew are the only people who I think have NO value, and I STILL don't understand why we need to be choosing the 3 least valuable instead of the 2 ??
