    Leader is rarely the most talented person in a group/ team, e.g. Billups was the leader on 08-09 Nuggets team that made WCF, but Melo was the best player.

    In fact, leaders often need smarter/ more talented people around them.

    I'd say leader is Lin. He's more vocal than any Rocket, in huddle or on floor, he directs his teammates, etc. Harden is quieter.

    Looks like Harden but I think its between Parsons and Lin Harden somtimes looks like a little zen like real chill somtimes I do see the leader in him come out but not as much as I would like it to

    There is not even any doubt that Harden is the leader. He is the superstar, the max player. Everything starts and ends with him. Parsons, Lin and Asik are all very high character guys and all provide Harden great support too.

    Ofcourse Harden is the leader as well as the Rockets superstar, allstar, all nba player, etc.


    That doesn't dimish Lin, Asik, Parson 1 bit

    Those 3 are very good players with the potential to be future all stars.

    Harden by a mile is the leader of this pack but Lin's also there to provide his kind of leadership. It's not hard to visualize a group with a lot of leaders and yet have one overall leader. BTW, Harden's also answering a higher leader which is McHale. I find the Rockets team as a respectful bunch of players. As long as you're doing something good for the team, other members won't hesitate to follow your lead even for players that have higher salary and that's why I also like Harden. He can defer and lead at the same time just like what's Lin and Parson's also doing.

    But if you ask those same forums, what they think of Lin they'd pretty much all say Lin can't shoot, can't go left, can't defend, is overrated, and is a bench player. So take those polls with a grain of salt.

    Since both Lin and Harden have been playing for the Rockets, which should be good enough for the poll.

    those other team fans still prob think Lin is avg 7pts or some shiat like he did in Jan. Imo Lin slightly edges Harden as the Leader. Harden is the workhorse, you can rely on him. Lin is the motor and wills the team.

    That looks like a pointless exercise. Those people don't know much about the team. I too would say Harden should be the leader. But, from reading all the little tidbits, it sounds like Lin is the leader.

    Wow, you really spent all of this time to get fans opinions who know nothing about the Rockets just so you could find a way to show up Lin supporters? I would say I'm shocked but actually this doesn't surprise me at all.
