    lol why are you trying so hard to derail the thread... people are actually inputting their opinions without having a lof/loh debate in here for once.

    Actually, I would hope its quite the opposite-

    Asking for less arbitrary, and more definitive measurement for the apparent "consensus" opinion isn't derailing hoops discussion, its to help people avoid troll baiting, and sift through the noise of the motive of the OP.

    I do think the discussion of ranking Rockets players is absolutely an interesting one, but however in this case the motive is clear and needs to be kept in mind. To keep the conversation less baited to make YOUR point, it really needs to be asking more specific questions other than "Who is better than the other guy".

    In some cases its obvious (James Harden is obviously "better" at pretty much everything than Isiah Canaan for example), but in the case of the 3rd best through the 8th best, you need to be a little more specific about what you are wanting to discuss because each player is different, their roles are different, and their production varies.

    I do not want to derail threads. I want to help create more interesting, & productive dialog. Questioning motive and asking for more definitive questions to answer hopefully helps with that.
