the astros pitchers typically did great in those first round exits...it was the batters that fell apart...aside from maybe 2001, when our bullpen imploded and julio lugo kicked the ball around the infield what seemed like a dozen times.

I like this thread. For those that still don't understand.

This is for Yao lovers who think Yao is everything. He is the "franchise", he is "mad max", he is the "dream"!!

wake up yao lovers, he is just yao. Nothing else. now there is one word I would like to associate yao with........ "let down"

Gets injured every year. because he is too dumb to realize he is human, not a machine and that he needs to rest his body or he will get "Stress fractures"

and yao fans are out of this world. it's like they have a blindfold on and there is yao drawn on the inside of it. all they see, eat, sleep, think, wear is Yao!!

I don't hate Yao Ming, he is a good player, a really good one. but i hate his ethics, and yao lovers make me hate him more!!!

You hate Yao Ming's excellent work ethic? The fact that he never stops pushing and gives it his 100%? It's not his fault he gets injured... accidents happen and it is well known people his size struggle with injuries.

You hate that he is devoted and loyal to his team and his country? I love it that he cares so much about everything he does. And, on top of that... he is one of the most genuinely nice guys in the NBA and has a great personality.

I agree that some Yao lovers out there get out of hand... but your post just pisses me off... if Yao's qualities are opposite of yours... you must be a lazy, unloyal piece of crap

Yeah, our pitchers weren't too bad, but not good enough either.

Poor Yao, his Chinese coach had to complain that the Lithuanias didn't play fair because they double and triple teamed Yao. Hello, if he could pass it to someone that might make a basket or hey try this one...don't have a dumb turnover they might have kept it close.

    I guess Yao was "Dreaming".

I hate Yao's belief that he is a robot. He needs to wake up and understand that he is human and that if he over plays, then he will get hurt. Once again, this site, these forums are about ROCKETS BALL......... to me as a fan, HOUSTON ROCKETS come first, then all the players.

I respect his care for his country, I respect his devotion. But him trying to care so much and devote to his country, he is forgetting to realize, he is unintentionally harming the Rockets organization. Him being injured of "Stress Fractures" clearly PROVES that he needs to calm down on his body. and frankly playing EVERY single year for china will NOT help that.

I am ok with him playing in the olympics to represent his country. Olympics is huge and he should do that. But playing every summer, and coming back tired and running out of fuel mid year everytime......... is unacceptable from a ROckets fan point of view.

so shut your crap about defending him and your ignorance of the big picture.
last 3 freakin yrs he has been getting injured!!! heck even the most injury prone tmac was there when we needed him last year. every year we live with hope that we will surpass the year before........ every year we add more pieces to the puzzle and make our team stronger....... and every year Yao leaves all of that because his body is not on the same page as his mind.

get up and face reality. Yao will need to realize where is priorities lie, he can't be playing 365 days out of the year and be 7' 6" and still hope to stay healthy for a 82 game season plus playoffs....... this is not a NBA2k game

LOL. I remember Bob's SLOW-ASS pitching, Mr. Tinman, sir. :D

Thank you for this thread, tinman, sir. I've had fun up until the 31st page.

Dream is Dream. Should I do a "who is Derrick Chievous?" thread or a "who is Purvis Short?" thread?
