i'm bothered that people don't know that Ron Artest is from Queensbridge.

Its like facts you learn in school.

Snoop Dogg is from the LBC (Long Beach)
LL Cool J is from Queens
    NWA is from Compton
    DREAM IS HAKEEM
    NAS, Mobb Deep, Ron Artest

    are from

    QUEENSBRIDGE

this should be implanted in your head if you choose to root from Ron Artest.
He represents his hood and culture.. and that's queensbridge!

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tj45oblW20E&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tj45oblW20E&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

here's Ron in Queensbridge talking about what he's doing in the 'hood'.

    OMG!

LL Cool J is from QUEENS!

    Farmers BLVD is in QUEENS!

Holy crap, what a freakin mistake. Calling out someone and then using the wrong data?

    From Wikipedia:

He was born James Todd Smith in Good Samaritan Hospital, located in Bay Shore, New York, and raised between St. Albans, New York and Hollis, New York in the borough of Queens.

This the lowest point in the Tinman career at the BBS. Truly sad.

Here is what he said on this 1985 album RADIO:

Now I'm a dedicate this rhyme to my favorite street
You think about it everytime that you hear this beat
Any other jam you hear just dis-regard
This is the National Anthem of the Boulevard

    FARMERS in Queens!

Man...I am so disappointed for some reason. :D

    No sweat Tin!

Its all good...this is the worse you can do before coffee?

I blackout for periods at a time without mine. I once woke up after having my coffee and saw that I drew a picture of JVG naked.

    Weird...

That's a lie. I think the point of this thread is that Yao is the new dream. We should start calling him "Dream" and Hakeem, just "Hakeem."

Or we call them both Dream!

    They both greatest Dream!

Im gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Yao is a great all around center in this league and has improved enormously over the past few years. But does that mean that we need to call Yao "Dream"? You can call Yao any name you want but "Dream" is just not one of them. Its like calling Kobe or LeBran "Air Kobe" or "Air LeBron". It just doesnt sound right. When you mention the word "Dream" to anyone associated with the league its a no-brainer who you are talking about. Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon got his name from putting his opponents in the popcorn machine while executing his patented "Dream Shake".

The Dream won his first championship with the rockets with no other superstar.

The Dream embarrassed David Robinson in the Western Conference Finals the following year in San Antonio right after Robinson got his MVP trophy.

There will always be the one and only Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon.

Hmmm I should check out that Tmac game where he was so awesome in the playoffs. And the Rockets uniforms suddenly look better.

Why do you always have to try to separate and isolate Rockets fans. So if someone sticks up for t-mac then he's a "t maniac"?? We're just Rockets fans... living in the present... loving our team. Stop with all the internet cool-guy antics.

Wait a minute, Since when was TMac playing in Orlando the present?
I'm confused. If we're Rockets fans why are we watching Orlando games (besides the sweep in 1995)?

Why is Tmac in Orlando so loved more than Tmac in Houston?

when people replied about how stupid you and/or this thread are, and your argument is something like.. "thanks for again posting in MY THREAD" and "you could change the channel or read a thread about Aaron Brooks vs Moochie Norris. But you are always here"......

isn't that basically the same thing as you reading and replying to the 'most loyal to houston' thread.. so was the OP in that one "Pablo Escobar"?

i'll agree it's cool and it's important to know about the great rockets teams of the 90s but its not cool to devote so much of your time and energy on calling out those who don't, grow up dude...
