I was just skimming that thread over lunch and what I got out of that thread was to never ever boast about anything on the BBS. Even if somehow I do end up living with 5 models and get in a fight and emerged unscathed to never mention anything about it here.

The dude lied about everything. Not a few things, everything. There's nothing wrong with the board policing itself a little bit and he got exactly what he had coming.

You could brag about the fight thing and get away it.

The models? Eh, not so much.

Hasn't time expired already? No photo was submitted to Clutch, I'd guess.
    ...
And my apologies for posting a fake photo earlier in this thread about flakes and fakes. Not very funny, even by my standards.

I'm not much interested in the topic of this thread......but regarding the part about HP, is Popeye really still alive or was that new thread just a joke?

Recap: No evidence (that I know of) has been posted to prove Popeye is alive or dead.

It is strongly suggested, and I believe that Clutch believes it highly probable, that the new thread was a fake.

Heyp posted incredibly suggestive things right after the OP posts, claiming he knows for a fact it's not OP, etc.

I read the "hey everybody" thread for a while, could find any posts about living with models or the fight in the first 10 pages... are they from other threads?

Trying to figure out the whole truth behind the legend of MacBeth is like trying to decipher Enron's balance sheets circa 2000.

I had to vote MacBeth. He always said I was threatened by him and/or didn't like him. I tried to clarify once that I had no problem (he had misread a joke as me trying to seriously insult him) he agreed and said he misunderstood and everything was cool, and then he continued to claim I was threatened by and didn't like him. He was awesome.

I didn't really participate much in his "classic" return thread referenced here because it seemed a little much at the time - the guy had an air of desperation. In hindsight, dude was messed up.

heyp has always been cool with me but I have heard a lot of bad about him from people I would trust. But, again, with me he has always been cool. We used to have a fake/real antagonism towards each other that was enjoyable at the time.

almu is in another (much lower) league.

MacBeth never said he lived with models. He did say that he was a model and that he lived with 6 female roommates. Here's the post about his "fight", lol.

EDIT - that was on page 9 of that thread.

wasn't there a guy that flaked out on buying some tickets from a fellow BBSer this season on the day of the game? He might not deserve to be number one, but he should make the list.

Okay, some of you have gotten me curious about something...saying MacBeth had multiple user names and stuff. All I am familiar with is him being JAG and then changing to MacBeth (can't remember if his posts were combined or not). Of course he was "Harry Palmer" on the realGM boards but there was never a "Harry Palmer" on the BBS (at least as far as I know). Severe Rockets Fan - am I correct in hearing that you think that MacBeth was BTM?? I remember that dude...damn, was he an ass!

Anyway, I also remember an incident in which heypartner accused MacBeth of being someone else (but I don't think it was BTM) and that he had his proof in the IP addresses. IIRC, heypartner was adamant that this user was JAG/MacBeth and MacBeth kept professing his innocence. I found that whole situation very odd. And I think that happened around 2002 or so when I guess heypartner would have access/knowledge of stuff like that. Hmm....  :D

You got it Manny, he said that BTM's and Macbeth's ISPs were 1 number off from each other which meant they were probably in the same room. If you remember the wild differences in their posting styles, you can imagine the lengths MacBTM went to conceal his identity. Weirdo.
