Until this past season, Donyell Marshall. That guy was a walking contract for years. ------------------
Speaking of walking contracts, who can forget that lovable bust Jon Koncak, effectionately called "Jon Contract" by the Hawks fans for the way he sucked up money and never contributed. ------------------ "Instruments are like women: After a while, you want to make love to another." - Nicolas Godin of the musical duo Air
I like this list the best, except I would leave Ralph off. I think Ralph had a very nice career. Len Bias had Jordan-like talent. The Boston franchise has not been the same since Len killed himself with cocaine. What a shame- he had a chance to be one of the all-time greats. He is clearly the biggest bust I have ever seen. ------------------
after looking at all these reply's, i'm goin to have to agree with many of u that are much more experienced than me. definetely Pervis Ellison and Sam Bowie, not to mention lets not forget Larry Hughes ------------------ What is the difference between Kelvin Cato and Macey Gray?? Macey has bigger hair
I don't think you can consider him a bust, simply because of the fact that he has made an All-Star team. Plus, he was a pretty good player until recently. He was a good rebounder. Pretty versatile defender. Smart offensive player, who could occassionally score in the low post. In the 1992 draft, it was a FORGONE conclusion that Shaq would be the 1st pick. All 11 representatives at the lottery brought a number 1 jersey with Shaq's name on it. Seriously, there was never a doubt who would be the 1st pick. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Da Man (edited July 13, 2001).]
I agree so much with shark44's list. ------------------ Rarely is the question asked: Guns kill squirrels than REDRUM to fools across the nation?
No contest, it's LaRue Martin. Who? Exactly. He was the #1 pick overall in '72. Drafted ahead of a guy named McAdoo. ------------------
