Somehow John Stockton slipped through this entire conversation.

Maybe in the minds of Rocket fans, but not overall - you can't doubt what he's done in his career, no matter how much you/I/we may think he's a flopper and a cheater.

Stockton is basically a backup PG at this point, as far as production goes.

He will go down in history as one of the greatest PG's of all-time, if not the greatest.

Well, he's still at 12.6 ppg, 8apg, and 1.8spg - he's not getting many minutes now because he's old, but there are a lot of teams he'd start for.

And I agree - he may go down as the greatest PG ever, but he needs a title to cement that - something he won't get.

I think, Kidd payton and Francis are the best. without a doubt,
I think they all bring al lot to the team, I think if francis is fit he is the best, Without him the rockets are pathetic. what are they now without francis 1-25, or something. Kidd made a turnaround, but it had something to do with al the other starters gettinf in shape, and playing, Kittles, van horn, martin all didn't play a lot. and they got tod this year. So that leaves payton and francis, and i think francis is better if he hasn't got a injuri

The best Point guard is Jason Kidd! He can score lot's of points if the teams needs it, and he can make other teammates score points if the team needs it. He's a really great player! He's a real leader of the team. The 2nd best PG is Francis i think.
