    Me neither. It still makes me think of the K.C. Chiefs when I just hear the name "Texans" (without the Houston in front).

    Time will change that I guess.

    Sorry, Ric. I'm a native Texan, born and raised in Houston, and I went to Oilers games with my Dad when I was a kid. It's not about them not being the Oilers... I just think the name sux. Maybe I'll get used to it. (sorry, this is off-topic and probably covered a zillion times)

    Why not just call them the "Houston Houstons"? :p
