Chuck Connors played in the NBA, he played MLB, and he was the Rifleman.

Great answers... The Rock, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Connors, Jason Stratham, Terry Crews, or Jim Brown. They win on been the biggest stars.

My top answers would've been, if I really sat down to think about it ...

    1. Bernie Casey (he actually became more known for acting than he is for playing in the NFL) or Merlin Olsen.

I'll even thrown in Alex Karras.

For pro wrestlers, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Roddy Piper or Jesse Ventura, who both have very respectable resumes as actors, even more so than say ... Terry Bollea

Or for martial artists, you could say Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, or Dolph Lundren.

Pound-for-pound Mr. Belvedere was tied with Webster for the ugliest cast on television. Just the Ten of Us, though; take a Luner and Langenkamp sandwich anyday.

I believe he smashed a backboard during a basketball tryout, he threw it like a baseball and the coach told him he wasn't on the Newport News anymore.

Won't say he was the best, but Lebron was surprisingly solid in Trainwreck

Kurt Russel was a minor league baseball player for his dad's team an outstanding documentary about it is available, just can't remember the name, something like the bastards of baseball or some such.

Adding in the ABC sitcom family fun some Tony Danza in Who's The Boss, who was a professional boxer briefly

(Not the ex "baseball" player they made him in the show where every 3rd pisode he'd stare at his old baseball card of himself in miss-those-times rememberance)
