In the book about Rudy T and Kermit Washington (The Punch?), it was stated that no player of his generation wanted to fight Calvin Murphy because he was a Golden Gloves boxer. Pretty good in a brawl.
Kendall Gill has been seriously training in BJJ and Vale Tudo for years. I would put him and his training against anyone.
More likely Bill Laimbeer on that team. He was in ALL the fights. Don't forget Ainge practically biting off Tree Rollins' finger.
CALVIN MURPHY! However, here's my list of NBA players in which I'd want no part of: Vernon Maxwell: Whether in the stands or in a Luby's parking lot, you want no part of Mad Max. Especially in a Luby's parking lot. Eddie Griffin: if he'll shoot at his girlfriend, I know he'll shoot at my smack talking white ass. Ruben Patterson: I don't want to be forced to perform oral sex on him.
my list of super brawlers.... ron artest charles barkely charles oakley bill lambier vernon maxwell rick mahorn calvin murphy -- i think everyone else has covered it Armen Gilliam -- barkley talked about him in a book, dude went after someone with machete one time...classic, and was great boxer anthony mason -- not sure about his fight history but the guy was rugged, would have been a great brawler karl malone john stockton -- i know he wasn't a fighter but the guy was nails. he was dirty and tough. larry bird -- people tend to forget about his demeanor on game day sometimes. this man would talk trash to you all game, score 30 on you, and punch you right in the face if neccessary.
More like the guy HAD nails. Not to mention he used to love holding onto other players' shorts. What a fruit
"Akeem" was half crazy. ESPN showed an NBA fight montage a few years ago and showed Akeem walking up to this guy and slapping the taste out of his mouth.
