I believe that this front office will point in a certain direction this Wednesday. I dont know where that might be, but they are either making a mega deal or not making a deal at all which would be focusing on developing young guys for next year, and just overall trying to get better.

If all else fails and they cant make a move this will happen -

#1-Terrence Williams, and Johnny Flynn will be waived
#2- The team will do something, anything with Kevin Martin even if it means putting him on the shelf for a few weeks or the remainder of the season. Lee will be moved in as the starter for the remainder of the season.
#3- The team will play much much looser and better. Less distractions, less drama. Overall, a much more fun brand of basketball win or loss.

You can resist tanking, but you cannot resist being a mediocre team. Sometimes, mediocre teams fall below that threshold, not necessarily, because they aren't playing their hearts out.

It's simply a matter of having the talent to compete.

If everything fails, I don't mind getting Adrien back and some Dleague guys to sub Twill, Flynn and Thabeet.

Exactly. Also Will Conroy is a very serviceable backup PG. He's not flashy but he's good at running the offense, and can play decent defense despite not being the biggest PG in the league. I agree that Adrien should also be brought back along and maybe Marcus Blakely, and Jeff Foote if Thabeet gets cut as well.

At least those guys will bust their hump in practice and in garbage time. I really loved the effort those guys played win in the D-League all-star game. Obviously Morey wants to keep filling the end of the bench with high-talent guys going forward, but if they cant make any deals for Williams, Flynn, Thabeet... I would much rather see two or three guys get the Gatorade Call up... I think McHale would love it as well.

It's common knowledge that GM's, regardless of their ambitions, do what they do based on what ownership wants, which isn't always viable seeing as it's management who usually knows how to get back to winning basketball than ownership.
