the bottom line is he's far better than malick badiane ever will be. he's actually a pretty established player. i doubt he'll play in the nba, though.

You shouldn't make this type of joke about Maciej Lampe. Actually, I think many people were wrong about him in NBA. He had some hard transition time to the NBA's playing style after falling from projected top 5 in the draft to the second round. However, he ended up to be a really good player and is now the star in the Russian league, arguably one of the two best leagues in Europe (along with Spanish), still being relatively young.
