Chinese, Irish, or African, the man is simply a generous and humble person regardless of his skin color...
Yao loves his country, that is for sure. If you ask him if getting a metal for China would end his career in the NBA would he do it, he'd do it in a second. Now, while China will not will Gold or probably any other medals in these Olymipics (for basketball), Yao is still going to give it his all. I am proud to be a chiness Rockets fans living in Houston. Yao, have fun in these games, play hard and come back stonger than before. You now have a team you can take to the finals next season.

I think the Rockets are extremely lucky and blessed to have Yao on this team. He exemplifies someone with honor and a strong commitment to whatever task lies infront of him. He is the type of guy you can trust giving his 100% no matter what the situation is.
Dang that kid is only 8 years old and he saved the lives of 2 other kids? The whole time Yao was holding him I didn't think he could understand the conversation and in the end he goes " thank you.. thank you very much " in perfect English. Pretty neat.
Thanks, the interview was excellent and the kid was cute. The video is not in the first page, it's in page 4 (or 5)?
I would love Yao Ming as a person and a diplomat even if he played for the Mavericks. The fact that he's on my team during the NBA regular season is just icing on the cake.
