What an awesome come back, as usual you have no basis to defend this and simply come back with a retort that sounds like it came from a 4 year old
I admit I didnt get to see Durham's testimony yesterday but I'm stuck in hurry up and wait mode this morning so watched some of it. I don't think Durham did a good job but I also don't blame him too much for his answers. I also think some of the criticisms of him are unwarranted. From what I've seen is that the main takeaway is that Durham stuck with a very narrow investigation and likely felt pressured to deliver something major. As such he didn't investigate things like the convictions of Trump associates or that Russia did actually release material damaging to Clinton. This is why I felt that Durham was almost set up to fail. Republicans expected him to find things that were unlikely to be found and deliever a devastating legal case exonerating Trump and proving a conspiracy. He wasn't able to do those. In many ways Durham's experience in the House wasn't much different than Mueller's both were exceedingly cautious in their answers. Both were criticized by people who opposed their invesitgations and by people who put too much faith in them and were disappointed when they didn't deliver what they expected.
Agree... I think Durham honestly wanted to do a professional job but was pressured by the maga crowd to come up with their desired story. He ended up pleasing no one and suspect he wishes he didn't accept the assignment. Yet another victim of trumpism...
It wasn't a complete fabrication. Was it completely accurate? No, it wasn't - but it wasn't fabricated. A lot of the allegation in the report were corroborated by the Director of National Intelligence. Further, the FBI and CIA spoke to some of the actual sources in the document, so it isn't as if Steele just fabricated it. Also it is kind of hard for Trump to claim it is a fabrication, considering several conspiracy theories he believes in are included in the Steele report. The Steele dossier is a series of small reports based on what Steele heard from people in positions in power and around Trump. He even went out of his way to say that he had not been able to vett all the information, because the report was not complete. As he continued drafting reports, it became harder and harder to get any information out of Russia. Steele is the one that turned his findings over to the CIA and FBI because of the pattern that was emerging between contacts with Russians and those around Trump. We know now that this was true. The Steele dossier was never intended to go public because it was nothing more than raw intelligence - some of which was true. Steele also had worked with the FBI and CIA before and his information had a track record of being accurate. Further, Trump DID accept foreign aid from the Russians in 2016 - It is in the Mueller Report and he met with Russian representatives at Trump Tower who offered to provide him information. Not only that, before the meeting Trump's campaign already knew the purpose of the meeting. Also, Steele went to the FBI and CIA with what he learned, the Trump campaign did not. I know it is convenient to call it a hoax or fabrication - but that just isn't the case. A number of things in the roughly 20 small reports of raw data called the Steele Dossier have been confirmed to be true and accurate - so it isn't fabricated. That isn't to say it is all accurate, even Steele said that it is unlikely that it is all accurate, as is the case with raw intelligence data.
there's no defense for Trump, but he, and the entire country were victims of the disinformation campaign oka RussiaGate, orchestrated by the Clinton campaign, and abetted by Obama, Biden, Comey, Schiff, and the LMIC.
Lol… there’s no defense for Trump BUT “let me justify my defense of Trump” Trump campaign absolutely shared information with Kremlin backed associates. Deal with it. Why wouldn’t we look into that?
Yeah... There's no defense for Trump yet you just offer one that it was all a conspiracy to get him..
it was a conspiracy by a group of women and men who knowingly misled the American public in a seditious campaign to undermine a legally elected President chosen by the people in accordance with the constitution. and you're just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Lol nope. Trump campaign shared information with Kremlin backed associates. That’s something that should be looked at…. No?
The dossier was leaked to different outlets, but only started lighting up the media space when Buzzfeed "broke" news of the golden showers and other juicy details. Much like how Bannon seeded rumors and innuendo by letting the NYT cover and spread his messaging, this was pretty deliberate. A main difference was that worked in coordination with the FBI's deliberation process. Without the Buzzfeed leak, who knows how far the FBI would be pressured to look into the allegations that some internally already knew couldn't stand with only the dossier. It's a serious question given the amount of fruit from poisonous trees that jump started the circus. Of course, given the amount of ammo Trump gained from the DNC and Hilary campaign hacks, I wouldn't say one side is more just than the other. Seems like an accepted escalation of ends justifying the means...
Dude.....can you prove there is a conspiracy other then spouting out theories across multiple presidencies? It`s ok to admit that the conspiracy didnt happen, otherwise maybe you should take up the mantle and figure it out, Durham had 4 years and found zilch and he was on your side trying to get it
