It looks like Jordan Hill is not going to be part of the the coaches rotation, and I really hate seeing the Rockets get out rebounded and being out sized by other teams. Does anyone have an opinion about who or what we will do about a backup center anytime soon to play in the rotation.
I can taste your sarcasm. Patterson doesn't rebound like a 4 and can't play outside like a 3 can. IMHO, Patterson is superfluous. I like his game when he is in game condition but for this roster I'm not sure that's what we need. Last night the Roxs were very flat and it didn't seem that we have a spark plug anywhere on our bench. A high energy 5/4 that will rebound and clog the lane would be great. Some one kinda like this guy... Spoiler
What? You think the rockets organization have been so confident in their C position (both starter and backup) that they have been just snubbing thabeet? He was traded for. Of everything Thabeet lacks, it's not opportunity.
I like him as a possibility. Here are some other names of players that are possible 5/4 backup rotation guys. Jason Thompson - Total rebounds per 36 min: 9.5 career Kwame Brown - Total rebounds per 36 min: 8.9 career Channing Fyre - Total rebounds per 36 min: 7.8 career Chris Kaman - Total rebounds per 36 min: 10.1 career Aaron Gray - Total rebounds per 36 min: 11.0 career I think these are all guys that are reasonably available and can perform a job that we need done. I like some more than others. What do you think?
I agree with Bampy. Hopefully one day McHale surprise us putting him on the court. Hey, it is trully difficult that he helps us less than Hill, believe that. And at the least Hasheem would be playing at his natural position. Patterson is the easy option, but we can't continue playing only 8 guys. Tha-beet! Tha-beet!
