You should reverse your statements. Actually, Yao's offense wasn't good in last 3 games, because he put too much energy into the defense. When Yao is in the middle of the paint for defense, there were a lot less of penetration from the other teams.
Because of that, RA always put him on the court, even when his offense is poor.
