Since Yao Mings owns the shanhai sharks he might be thinking about retirement.

Even when he returns I think his mind might be else where. But maybe he will be a silent partner with the shanghai sharks and still be ready next fall. IDK?

If he plays for china this summer then he should have no excuses prohibiting from playing this fall and actually being ready with no excuses.

but I don't know if he will be 100% by next fall. Maybe retirement is inevitable for Yao ming?

This isn't about who's the better player....

Anyway, I am pretty sure Duncan is closer to the twilight of his career. Yao, OTOH, cannot quit unless someone in Beijing approves it.

obviously this isn't about who the the better player is because yao is injuried and he is sitting out the season. We'll see what happens next year. I'm counting down to when he comes back and he is lack luster and he plays the "injury card" or "less than 100%" card.

Again, being that duncan is still playing, healthy, averaging good numbers that remains to be seen.

Duncan will start a 2 year deal next year. Yao has one more. So at this point i can say for sure that Duncan won't retire untill the end of his contract. While Yao will be forced to retire if he injuries himself hard again on what would be his contract year.

i'm not gonna make another posting other than to say I don't like the product the rockets management are putting on the floor. But I'm a lakers so I guess that might explain why I don't like what the rockets have out on the floor .

I didn't like when the rockets let alston go or how they did francis. In fact I didn't like how they did olajuwon when he left to go to the raptops. I'm licking my chops for the day that yao gets the shaft too. LOL

You have won one of your bets already-- Yao Ming will be unable to play the run & Gun style of play. But if you pay attention to the way the Rockets presently play they are now one again mostly playing half court Basketball and Yao should have no problem doing that!! :
obviously you have no idea what is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p
