winning changes a lot of people's perception. raptors' bosh > grizzlies' gasol. playing in the triangle offense allows gasol to utilize his talents. and not carrying the load every night allows him to focus on defense. people don't realize how the triangle really helps a big man. bynum can be very good when he's healthy
the triangle helps those utilize their talents. longley and wennington didn't have any talent except they were tall. even kobe benefitted from the triangle. he had his worst shooting season the year phil jackson left and took the triangle away with him.
Pau is more consistent and is a much better defender and rebounder .. But If u look at it Bosh had a better Raptor career than Gasol's Grizz but iam pretty sure well find out who's better in the 2010 Finals ..
Gasol, not even CLOSE. Much better defensive presence, better passer, and he actually plays in the post unlike Bosh, who is just a good jumpshooter.
Lebrick is mentally weak and can be taken out of his game by simply making him shoot jumpers, and Ru Paul? nuff said... Wade is the only lion of that group Kobe-beast Ron-r****ded beast Pau-newly crowned beast.. Id rather have a 3 headed beast than a 1/3 headed beast
Now because Gasol has a lot of talent all say Gasol, but wait to see this season. I think it would be more fair to compare Gasol in Memphis vs. Bosh in Toronto. Gasol didnt have any talent in Memphis, and he couldnt win a series in a plyoffs, like Bosh.
The Grizz under Gasol reached the playoffs in the WEST. The Raps under Bosh were lottery dwellers in the EAST. Big difference in team performance, I'd say.
Chris Bosh or Pau Gasol? I'd take Pau Gasol, he is an inch or 2 taller and he is more experienced and a better passer.
I'm guessing the wide margin for Gasol is because of Rocket fans still sore about Bosh going to Miami rather than Houston. Statistically they are basically the same.
Who cares about stats when Bosh was only able to achieve a winning record in the East a single time while Gasol was at least able to bring the Grizz to a respectable state in the WEST (although never being legit contenders). Neither are #1 guys, but the talent of the two is really not close
Dwight Howard has the highest FG% in the league, and 100% of his moves are in the post. I don't think you can use that to argue that DH has better post moves than Gasol.
