Chuck Hayes has always been the co-captain of the rockets with battier... so now hes Captain by himself..

 

i remember an interview on rockets.com when artest was here they were talking about the captains of the the team and they said it was Hayes & Battier... so moot thread..

Thanks, this is exactly where I come from:

I don't understand all the fuss about the captain or no captain, we're absolutely going to miss Battier's leadership, the captain thing it's just a title and is meaningless compared to that.

That said, even if they are not going to fill the void, we still have solid characters in our team.
