I could, if I was sinister, do the same thing with a small town in Georgia predominated by poor African Americans or aspiring rappers. Take their opinions on something they don't truly understand, or makes them come across stupid, and project it onto all African Americans. Of course, I would be called a racist and lose my job... because it's only allowed to use these subversive measures to attack white people. You can take any small niche and project it onto a large group of people to support a biased view, but you prove nothing and out yourself as a racist in the process.

Fact is, in the media, it’s likely that all these people seen about Islam are headlines like “200 killed in suicide bombbng at mosque”, “50 people gunned down by Muslim militants”, “ISIS massacres hundreds in sweeping raids”, “Yazidis on verge of extinction due to militant Islamist groups”. Sounds like you're the one projecting. The video is a sample of poorly educated, poor whites who tend to vote Republican because they're bigots. In the video they show they are quite proud of being bigots, to the degree that they would decline an infusion of jobs and money to be bigots. I wouldn't like to live in Japan, doesn't mean it's a bad country or the way they do things are bad. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of Saudis that would not like to live in America, it doesn't prove much I guess. Yeah, well, I'm exposed to that same kind of media and a new mosque doesn't make me think of terrorism. These people know these thoughts are helpful. The one guy in the back just flatly said "I'm a racist" so I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to react but to him a racist. The 10 people of this video are racist, but the OP and the media use it to imply something much more. He paints it as accurately depicting white republican voters which is a common theme amongst the left. When you reach and use low hanging fruit to project, it's what teenagers do, and hurts whatever point you try to make in front of adults. It's a theme of the media and white guilt trippers such as yourself to pretend all republican voters look and talk like this, but it's not close to being rooted in reality. That is the clear implication if you understand context, and it is racist + offensive. It's not about a small group of people in a small town, it's about what you and the OP want to believe all Trump voters are like. This would not be allowed for any other race. If I implied something about African Americans based on a bunch of hopped up rappers, or muslims based on terrorists etc., it would be too "racist" to discuss.
