American citizens can chose whatever religon they want and are as much of an American citizen as a Christian White American and have every right to live in any town they chose in the US regardless of their religous affiliation. We don't live in a ethnocentric state. Deal with it. Obvoisly these people don't believe in those ideals of what the US is .
I don't feel these are even comparative. The presence of a mosque is not comparative to cannibals and jihadists...although you should know that there were plenty of Christian Missionaries sent to the Congo, I imagine they pitched building big churces and such, that's a lot more comparable I fee. Or say going to Saudi Arabia and doing the same thing. In the end, it's not comparable still, because a country like Saudi Arabia is strictly a Muslim country. That's fine. That's alright. There's space in this world for countries to recognize a religion as its official religion. As long as the country isn't violating human rights, personally, IDGAF. But, this is Murica. Home of the free and all that. I'd rather be America and not a Christian Saudi Arabia, that's just me I guess. I know I'm at odds with the Y'all qaeda movement.
What are these people on the video a function of? Themselves? No one is born to hate anyone. It's something you learn from your environment. Fear, ignorance, inability or refusal to empathize, lack of self compassion, ... Knowing and saying that doesn't = white privilege and it does not mean we are less sensitive to the impact these people have on minorities. IMO, throwing white privilege out as often as I have seen you and other do it make it less meaningful. It's real and wide spread, but if the goal is for people to recognize it within themselves, it would be more helpful if it's used to educate.
Exposing the hate in those people = racist against white people? I know it can be very painful to see the hate in yourself and that's why projection is such a powerful psychological defense.
I wouldn’t want a massive mosque close to one of my homes. Close to my home in Illinois, they tried to put up a mega church. I fought it and they choose to go elsewhere. There was no money in it for our community and nothing positive. They don’t financially pay any taxes, they put additional stress on the local resources and deforest an area that is heavily wooded and in demand. Further it would have greatly increased traffic from people that don’t live in the town.
America is supposed to be "City upon a Hill" which the world looks to, not a third world intolerant country unless you are saying America has dropped so much.
Those are different reasons than "they are all terrorists". You are discussing this in a non-ethnic paradigm of pragamticsm based on tangible benefits to your neighborhood based in revenue . If these people's resentments we're of the notion of "This project isn't going to bring jobs for our community" instead of "I don't want brown terrorists here" they wouldn't have a legitmate argument.
Exposing the hate in white people It's something you learn from your environment and since 45 has been in office it has been show a lot more.
A town here in Texas near Beaumont had this same crisis except it was no prank. Dead town, no jobs, meat packing factory or something like wanted to move in. Big problem; they did halal meat. People went nuts thinking it was a terrorist organization. Don’t know what happened eventually
You missed the point - the OP is targeting the low hanging fruit and projecting them over an entire people as a whole. That would be like a white man basing his opinion on black people because of something a bunch of rappers from a small town say and believe. It IS racist because out of work, minimum wage types in small towns have nothing in common with the majority of "white Americans" who the OP insinuates they represent. Their recent anger is due to economic struggles. It is the democrat approach to discrediting the working class Americans who vote for Trump and have no interest in going to KKK rallies or speaking out about immigration.
You keep saying "America", but this is clearly targeting old, poor white Americans in a small town and painting it over the entire country. These are not the majority of Americans nor do they accurately represent "white America". If you want to hold "America" to a standard, you have to go to each demographic and socioeconomic section and find the diverse opinions that are relevant. You would never be able to make this insinuation toward any other race.
Over his career, Amerigo Vespucci claimed to have made 4 total trips to the New World. Not all of those trips were sponsored or known about. What we do know, however, is that Vespucci stopped in the Bahamas in the year 1499 and captured 200 people from the island. He brought them back to Spain and used them as slaves. He also wrote a number of letters about them, including how they practiced childbirth. Welp, nothing left to do but change the name. What you guys think, United States of Wussies?
It's funny you also see the paradigm of law enforcement as a pro-white entity that represtents white people .
Hard to tell what the actual opposition really cares about but I have my doubts it is the environment, which is what the organized opposition publicly focused on. All of those concerns have been addressed in accordance with state regulations and the company is planning on moving forward with the project. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Why are you trying so hard to make something out of nothing? This thread is racist against white people, period. You continuing to deny it shows how bad the problem is amongst non-whites who don't want a truly equal society based on merit. The double standard. It hurts the anti-white narrative amongst credible sources, I'm being honest with you.
This thread has a video of people saying all Muslims are terrorists. And now you magically claim that this thread is saying all white people are racists. Here is my claim. Most Trump voters are racis lt or at the very least hold racist sentiments.
You are the one making something out of nothing. No one in this thread said all white people are racist. Everyone in this thread are talking about the actual racist people in the video and you are the one denying it.
