I think the most disappointing pick at 13 for everyone would be me. Of course, I wouldn't be disappointed...

    TheFreak,

Have you ever thought, man, none of the girls at my college excite me? Then dream about the awesome potential of exotic Spanish girls, or how you can mold and shape high school girls to do whatever you want?

    DarkHorse,

We are in the playoffs right now, and our league is full... we may have some openings in the offseason though. Just check the fantasy forum periodically and you'll see how things work, and if you're interested, there will probably be an opening soon...

If we trade up, I'd be excited if we picked:
Brown, Griffin, Curry, Chandler,Diop, Richardson, or Battier.

If we keep the 13th pick, I'd be excited if we picked Diop, Chandler, Johnson, White, Gasol, or Radmanovic. Jefferson would be on the bubble for me. I'd be OK, but figured we could have gotten him at 18, so prefer that we had traded up and taken him later. I'd be dissappointed at 13 with Murphy, Bradley, Randolf, Woods, Haywood, or Kedrick Brown.

I would have to go with Bradley as the most disappointing pick

With Radmanovic and Brown gone to Boston Rudy T will definitely opt for size as all the good perimeter shooting forwards will be taken.

Diop is too much of a risk

Haywood has questions about his intensity and constancy, that's just what we need more of

Woods has screws in the vertebrae in his back, that's never good

Troy Murphy has come on but he is just a quicker Collier.

Bradley is a poor free throw shooting Collier

Steven Hunter just decided he would play basketball 5 weeks ago, "So here is a guaranteed 3 year contract and have a seat on the bench next to Mr Cato he has some advice on work ethic"

OK now I'm depressed. I personally have come full circle and think we should take Jefferson at #13.
    1. He measured 6'8" in shoes and has a 7' wingspan.
    2. He has natural defensive abilities and athleticism , and an improving offensive game Jason Kidd couldn't shoot when he came into the league and look at him now

We could take a center at #18 (trade bait if we don't like him) and and Morris at #23 although with our luck even Morris will be gone by the time we pick

Without a doubt it would have to be Troy Murphy he just reminds me of a poor man's Van Horn

What? I'd do anything to have a player like Keith Van Horn at the salary of a rookie... if he's a poor man's KVH that's a compliment, not a negative.

Definitely don't bag on Troy. He's probably the only sure thing in this draft other than Shane Battier. Imagine a pooooooor man's Charles Barkley lucky enough to have Joe Kleine's body.

He'd be top 5 if he weren't white.

If we pick up Brendan Haywood I will hunt the Rockets management down myself! The guy is another Benoit Benjamin in the making! Soft mentally and physically, he is a waste of a potentially good player!

At 13 I concur with everyone who's saying Bradley and Haywood are not good at that spot. Now at 18, I wouldn't mind Bradley too much, and I might even go for Haywood, but I'd rather go with Jason Collins.

I've seen Troy Murphy play the last 2 years, he isn't going to be the player people think he will be, I think he's going to be a different type of player. I think he's going to be mix between Austin Croshere and Danny Fortson, a weird combo, but not bad by any stretch of the imagination! Bradley is going to be a good, solid serviceable big man you can use to burn fouls, block a few shots, and grab some boards. He's a good "throwaway" pick that could pay dividends.

i think that the rudy t and carol dawson are smart enough not to pick brendan haywood or troy murphy. Haywood will slip to late first round i think. And troy murphy just won't ever amount to much. so don't count on them wearin a rockets uniform. I think we ought to draft a small forward. There just won't be a worthy big guy at thirteen. But the rockets should surely move up, if they can

TROY MURPHYYYYYY!, I say take him only if we can dump Collier on somebody. Murphy is definately better than Collier, but would be my last choice at #13. We do not need two similar slow guys like that.

I will be pissed if Eric Chenowith gets picked with any of our numbers!!!!

Here is a question for the board?

The Rockets will 100% walk away with a center in this years draft. IF EVERYBODY HATES HAYWOOD AND WOODS, who do you pick? Steven Hunter, Jason Collins.

If we use the #23 on Morris, then that only leaves #13 & #18 remaining for a SF & Center.

It will have to be one of the three top centers: Woods, Haywood or Hunter.

i think dark horse sumed it up nicely. anyone not in that group would be a suprise. at least if we take kedrick brown it would be for trade bait. something we should have done last year with c. alexander.

Clutch, any word on how the Rockets felt about Steven Hunter in comparison to Brendan Haywood or Loren Woods?

I'd be upset if we're still picking 13(unless it's for someone else).Anyway I don't think we will draft Haywood who reminds me of Eric Riley...so I'm not worried about that.If we have the pick then I dread hearing Murphy's name.
