What a boring name for a team. Who advised them, Bob McNair?

Pistons logo just a sign of the times then. I actually thinks its kinda alright in a retro-tech way.

But pretty much 'Full Body Mascot Showing "Character" ' is a recipe for fail. (The Bucks logo was always a little too "prissy" for my liking.) The only ones in NBA that have ever worked like that are the Hornets, and the Raptors cuz its just a ridiculous mascot to even start with. The Pelicans logo now is a perfect example of being more subtle with mascot and professional looking throughout.

Yep. Then the question maybe can be - Who's logo has the chance to be longest lasting?

In this day and age though, no logo is gonna last too long through the decades unchanged. Especially when a logo is associated with LOSING. Thats okay to me, logos can EVOLVE with the times. As long as its not some forced gimmick

the rockets logos have changed more than any other logo... interesting.

that red and blue space pajama era just doesn't seem to fit.

Of course we won 2 in them so we all love them for that reason alone. But, they just wouldn't fit in with the league today. They aren't timeless. Very outdated looking. Our best uniform in my opinion is the 70/71 i believe. Now that is timeless although with the home, i would prefer red outlined by yellow instead of reverse.

I agree the Blazer logo is great. Simple, abstract graphic. They have only had to make minor tweaks, and it still looks contemporary.

I like the Heats original logo better than current.
Blazers original logo better than current too.

I do think the Rockets logo will stand the test of time, and we should stick with it.

I really liked the Hawks logo under Dominque too.

Are we talking strictly logo or identity (logo + uniform)?

Bulls, Celtics, Lakers, and Spurs are timeless. Love the Blazers (though they need to simplify their primary logo).

Wrong on so many levels. Our classic jerseys are beautiful. One of the best jerseys in the league, I especially love the logo.

I agree that the second ones you posted would look sweet tho

I'm sorry, but this HAS to be said. You created this thread, which means you had more time than anyone to come up with the correct answer.

Your question should have been a statement.

The first couple Warriors' logos are timeless. 8D

I thought Raptors were using a claw thing now? That link still shows Barney dribbling.
