Pretty vague question, but I'd still say women. I don't think I'd want to have a menstrual cycle or want the ability to bear a child for about 9 months.

I heard recently that the prospect of getting raped or assulted is an ever present thought on a woman's mind as it dictates their movements (esp at night), their clothes and generally infiltrates their very psyche. Men spend much less time worrying about personal security. ...oh, and they still get paid less then men for the same job ...assuming they can get the same job. ...so, I'm gonna go with women. The whole giving birth thing is just crap women like to hold over men's heads. Giving birth is just a medical condition that passes. Men have medical conditions too, such as breaking a leg and being in crutches for months or some surgery that takes us offline for a bit. Average out how much time does the average man or average women spend in a hospital over a lifetime and it's probably comparable. Besides, giving birth usually has a really happy ending ...getting cancer ...not so much.
Have it easier in terms of what? Employment, civil rights, social expectations? There are advantages and disadvantages for both. Personally, I think women underestimate what it takes to succeed as a man in this world. I find that some women blame sexism for many of their problems, but lets face it, people will use whatever they can to get a leg up on each other. If it isn't sexism, it's something else. If Party A doesn't like Party B or plans to screw Party B over, Party A will use whatever justification they can to rationalize it, politically correct or not.

True story. Prior to our deployment we were shooting on the pistol range to get in our qualification for the year (MP) since we wouldn't be doing it overseas. To my left was a female corporal, very attractive hot body Hispanic who worked in supply but for some reason (ill let your mind wander) she was deploying with us. To her left was a corporal from my unit. As we finish a string of fire, she lowers her pistol with her finger on the trigger. An alibi shooter (one who didn't get all his rounds off in the time period due to a malfunction) down the line then proceeds to shoot his remaining rounds while everyone else waits. The sound of the gun going off scares her, she tenses up, jerks her body and pulls the trigger. She still had a round left, fires the round at the ground, it skips off the ground hits the side of the target and skims the other corporals cheek as it flies past his head, missing a direct impact on the center of his face by inches. She was up for meritorious promotion on the first of the next month. She got it. That answers your question right there.
It varies among civilization, nations, cultures but I'd argue modern women has it easier. They has same access but women in general are astute, manipulative and more socialized like pack of lioness. Add looks into it and they come out controlling your bank account
women can get dick whenever they want. men cannot get p***y whenever they want, unless they pay for it. men have it MUCH harder.
In some parts of the world, women definitely have it harder. But here in the west, men face a confusing time where gender roles are expected sometimes and ignored at other times. The man has to provide for the family, and if he doesn't is seen as a total failure. Also, there's a lot of support for women and encouragement of improving women's situation. Men receive no such support or help. There are no "men activists." And before somebody starts accusing me of misogyny for assuming men have problems- look at a custody battle, chances are the man will not have the kids, but we'll have to pay child support. Look at the selective service- where only men have to register for the draft. Look at how boys are doing worse and worse in schools, look at how fewer and fewer males are getting into college.
