You are good at twisting my words. His body is to me a finished product compared to Sengun. He can develop but very limited. It doesn't have anything about played games. Do you have difficulty to understand what you read? It's been claimed his shooting is better than Sengun right now but potentially they may be on the same level in the future. Probably you have no idea about your own player having a great work ethic. You may not be high as much as me on Sengun but it's delutional to think these players can't be compared in terms of their potential. I checked your posts and you got nothing to say positive about Sengun, who is one of the best player of the team right now. your name is gangbanged puppy. What do you talk about?
It's asking who is potentially a better player in future? Did I ask them to be compared as what they are now?
In 3 years this place is going to be a war zone, all of these risky takes and comparisons, we usually have 1-2 guys we speculate on and make comparisons to like D-Mo and Royce White being all-stars, but we've never had an entire roster like this, some of us better start looking for a place to hide lol I will go w Paulo, because he was a #1 pick, and Sengun seems to be performing as expected. I heard Clippers fans yelling at #28 asking who he is, if we had a mid first rounder with a higher ceiling than a #1 overall pick, and he wasnt getting the minutes, I would think Stone's phone would be ringing off the hook. If we had a guy that could convert his play into wins, that would be something to get excited for. You see stars in this league will their team to a victory, there is no one here doing that. We saw Wood do that a handful of times a year when he was here, but i just haven't seen it from any of the younger guys.
it's a real discussion but you guys always sabotage. I don't try to prop Sengun up, he doesn't need me obviously for that. I ask a legitimate question but I don't really understand this arrogant behaviour from some of gold starred members.
no, I don't evaluate solely based on draft position. You asked a question about 'potential' and then gave the example of Milicic, which is irrelevant because your example is on somebody who did pan out, which was irrelevant in terms of potential. Anyway, all of it is irrelevant. Fastest to make my ignore list. Quite an accomplishment.
So Paolo can’t get any more conditioned for 82 game seasons? Because Paolo is already strong, he can’t get much stronger? Lol… and at ~10 games into his career… Who claimed Paolo’s shooting is better besides you? Which by the way… it isn’t at this point. So essentially you are Sengun-stan and butt hurt that the board doesn’t share your biased views. And you are getting owned in your own thread. Where do you go from here?
Paolo can get stronger but he is already strong enough. It's not like he will be Shaq right? If you read earlier posts there are some people saying his shot is better than Sengun. I believe their potential for shooting is more or less the same. I'm not a "sengun-stan" believe what you want, but it's very shocking how you guys can undermine your own player's potential. Never seen such an unfaithful board. You are butthurt after Sengun's performance probaby...LOL Congrats you guys getting me owned in my thread.
And all this just after 10 games huh…. What about conditioning? I’ve mentioned that several times and you’ve ignored it. Paolo already maxed on conditioning too? Lol…. How exactly is this undermining Sengun’s potential?
I love Sengun and he has great potential but Banchero's potential is much much higher. Of course, time will tell but I would bet on Banchero having a better long term career.
I’m a Rockets fan first and foremost. The Houston sports memorabilia in my office dates back a long time lol. You and I have had our battles before but you communicate your opinions very well. I will never put an individual player over the team, I’m also a huge proponent of youth needing support and time. As far as Paolo and Alp go, I think they’re different enough to have worked together. Yes Paolo is a better athlete than Alp, but I don’t think he’s on the level laterally or explosively that you do. My point still stands about the two, they aren’t going to beat you with athleticism. It’s all skill based. Paolo is more polished and mature physically. If he can keep honing in his skills and getting those shooting splits up, he’ll be a force. Better than I thought he could be.
It’s a question of how Sengun develops his body and verticality. If he can do those things, that puts him an edge up on Banchero. Presently, he needs to increase his vertical strength. He already has the smarts.
That doesn't really check out if you watch them standing next to each other in games, I posted some screens here (only three pics, but there's extensive in-game material and during warmups). Especially Sengun has looked smaller than every 6'11 listed player he stands next to.
Draft night Jabari is slightly taller than Paolo without the hair. Alp and Jabari are within a half inch of each other height wise.
