Well, it sure as **** acts like one! I said synthetic, but I guess what I really mean is that it's a chemical additive to whatever green leafy stuff they're selling as K2 or whatever. It sure as heck ain't naturally occurring in that stuff.

the law may state that, but i dont know how much its enforced. looks like l.a. is clamping down (see article below), but i know from friends that it has been pretty much legal out there for awhile now. la weekly has done several interesting stories on the issue - one glaring statistic was that cities like san fran have like a 1 pot clinic for every 150k people, but la had 1 for every 9k. people i talk to who go out there say its literally like starbucks.

other cities have done a successful job of regulating, but l.a. seemed to be totally ignoring the issue and allowing a free-for-all. there are no rules - it has led to gangs coming in as suppliers - im sure yall have heard about all the growing operations out in the national forests.

it can be regulated in a safe manner, but the city of l.a. seemed to be allowing it to spiral out of control in order to get public back-lash against it - now they can come in and have more support for clamping down.

i wanted to start a thread on spice because i have smoked this three times in the last week, and it's growing on me. it's a smooth, mellow smoke and it has close to bud-high qualities. i like it because it is more mellow.

while i'd love the option to be choosy, i'm not going to be. if i carry pot, it'd criminal if i'm caught in posession. if i carry this **** cops can't bust me for that, though i supposed they could always still go the DUI or public intoxicatin route (no i don't drive on this stuff, i just know that eventually people will).

i can get high and this **** is legal to purchase in america? this is awesome! somehow i doubt that the smoke from this is any more harmful than what's already in cigarettes.

I guarantee you the DEA will schedule it before the end of the year. I have no interest in the stuff, but I'm sure you guys will be seriously pissed when it happens. The DEA's powers to deal with new things move with a ponderous inertia , but they ultimately they have a whole lot of power and nobody to really advocates against them.

For the past 15 years, they've been scheduling about one new "designer" drug a year.
