Different class of arrogance and self-obsession, maybe.

That's true. Roy played smarter than him to some extent, but Kobe is in a different league.

Roy only had one **** game that 6/18 game in game Four.

Kobe has the luxury of better teammates, and Roy's performance in those Six games was truly a pleasure to watch.

Talent wise, I think Kobe is the closest to Jordan. Yeah, I rank him over LeBron.

Now, ego wise, that's a different story.

Overall Kobe is a lot more dangerous than Roy but looking back Roy had given us more trouble than Kobe. Roy does not try to take guys one on one a lot and almost always uses Pick and Roll. On the other hand, Kobe almost always try to beat the man one on one. Shane has done very good job in defending the one and one play. We also have to factor int he fact that a lot of the PnR that Roy ran were against Yao Ming and we know how much trouble Yao has with them. Laker's didn't try to exploit that as much in the first few games when Yao played. Now Chuck Hayes does a very good job of coming out and helping on the PnR situations.

Who's still playing? Having said that, I'd much rather have Roy on the Rockets.

This Poll is an insulting joke to Battier and Faker's Kobe.

Im not a lakers fan whatsoever but, Kobe should have gone to the line more in this series,in games 1 or 3 i can recall kobe only went to the line twice the whole game. This is kobe freaking bryant with only 2 FT's attempts. But oh well I think both in a way are effective in their own manner.

GUY this is not whos better thread but who is give us more problem.

I choose roy because to me, he has the ability to lead his team not only by scoring but making things happen for them, like getting the ball to them in they most effect place. Also Brandon roy know how to exploit our weakness by getting our guys in foul trouble while Bryant goes one on one with shane while gasol could dominate hayes( no offense to chuck).

I have a question- and i don't know the answer. Who has had more shot attempts?

Also as a side note 2006 Kobe woulda killed anyone- to no one's care. The Kobe today is older and with one shot can send his team to the finals or a ring- I still think Kobe deserves a better team heart-wise.. Roy has what Kobe has had- Potential.

Roy gave us more trouble. The difference is Roy is a willing slasher that uses picks extremely well and can shift on a dime going in either direction. He uses all that to compliment his already solid perimeter game whereas Kobe is sort of the opposite: mostly all jumpers with the occasional drive or two but NOTHING a defender like Battier couldn't stay in front of.
