I really do not understand why JVG left him in the game so long last nite. Wes is too old and too slow. He was ice cold shooting. He contributed nothing. If he had hit one basket- ONE BASKET!!! we would have been in the game or won.

I join the chorus - give Luther Head those minutes!

Bench the old man. Limited minutes off the bench - fired up - amped up for a break for another player only.

I thought Wesley played really hard on defense last night, I was appreciative of his effort. As for his shooting, I was just glad that he only took 4 shots. I can live with him only taking 4 shots.

That being said, I still think that Head needs to play more, boy is that kid agressive. I love it.

Timmy Chan's is the perfect college dinner. Cheap, greasy, large portions, and pretty tasty. Of course after that you can gaurantee that you will be on the porcelain throne for a few days. Man that stuff can make your stomach brew.

van gundy has been quoted as saying he will play whoever will help us win. i now know that is BS. wesley should be getting head's minutes and head should be getting wesley's.

Actually Head did a decent job making up for it, he was our ONLY player giving SF much trouble. 3 tipped balls, he actually caused them to make some turnovers. We were much better with him out there.

I don't want to say things that will come back to haunt me, but I think Wesley is done. At first, it was the preseason, but he hasn't shown any glimpses of being what he was last year.

I would really like to see Luther play some more, he's our best penetrator by far (w/o TMac) and he is shooting a lot better than DW.

the fat fans that they run out there for the layup, free throw, 3 pt-er, mid-court contest - are shooting better that DW

Its not just pre-season....he started playing poorly at the end of last season and now it has carried over into this season. Not only has he lost his shooting but yesterday he could defend Francis either.

To be fair, I don't think there was a single Rocket defender that could have defended Francis lastnight.

But I'm not trying to stick up for DW or anything, I just understand that it is still very early, and I've learned not to overreact so early (I learned that last season). :)
