Maybe we should give Silas more than basically just one full season with tons of roster of turnover and little to no talent that is also one of the very youngest in the NBA. What was the expectation this year? 13 seed? It's not like the idea was to be even in the play-in. We were one of the 4 or so teams that was done before it started. Give it time to work itself out.

but why, silas is nobody, if its a proven coach id agree to get him more time...we need to get the real deal, you can still demote silas and keep him around to ease up on the workload of the new coach

pick whoever you think is the best nba coach in the league....now put that person on the rockets.

the rockets are still a **** team not sniffing a play-in game. That's ok, but it's a bit surprising to see so many people out for Silas blood when this outcome was expected.

Didn't sift through the 11 pages but I'm on board with Kenny Atkinson.

I said it before Silas was hired, I really like what Kenny Atkinson did with the nets. he's a proven talent developer who can also provide some X's & O's structure on court. Yes, he wasn't the choice of KD and Kyrie once they got there. they wanted a former player as a coach. however they wouldn't have wanted to go there had Atkinson not made something out of nothing beforehand.

he can do that here. raise these rookies into a playoff team in 3 years. then wear out his welcome, lose the locker room, etc... that's fine 2-3 years from now. but those years would be beneficial.

Just imagine all the different ways D'Antoni could weaponize Sengun-Wood PNR.

    Silas is bananas.

Translation: 'I don't have the coaching skills to make it work, so better not try than look like an idiot'.

Pretty sure it was @Nook who said Silas likes his vets a lot because he doesn't need to coach them.

    Mark Jackson...
    Kenny Smith...
    JVG...
    Steve Francis...

You've all lost your freakin' minds. Seriously.

Silas likely won't be around by the end of next season, but I relax in the knowledge that Stone has more sense than the average CF poster. :D

How about Popovich with Pat Riley and Phil Jackson as assignments. Lenny Wilkins as the ball boy. Teach the young pups etc

Don't forget Hakeem to "work with" anybody over 6'9" and JVG because we didn't run him out of town enough the first time. :D

I told you weeks ago propping up Wood and his stats took precedent over winning

Getting possibly two first round draft picks is more important.

The Dunker spot is basically Ben Simmons near the baseline "sucking"

He tanked his 3-point shoot to get Theis benched and also got Silas fired.
What do you think would have happened if they actually moved Wood
to dunker spot......he would have pouted and created no space for Sengun to
    operate.

I swear you have a one track mind. Sengun, Sengun, Sengun
    (Marcia, Marcia, Marcia)

There were more important stuff than getting Sengun stats.
Like propping up our trade baits and tanking in the process.

    Exactly my friend.

As if Tilman spends money like a drunken sailor. Just the opposite, if the
guy finds a nickel, he scurries off and buries it in the dirt like a squirrel
    burying a nut.

I'll take the 18 year old kid who's coaching the local U 8s at the YMCA.

The second Silas said Sengun doesn't pass the eye test I knew he was done and there's no turning back from his ineptitude and stupidity.

It's a double win, because I know Tilman will be a huge proponent of this since he'll save some money.
