Personally, I don't give a crap who we face...whichever road taken will be a test anyways...the way I see it, it's time to see the Rockets step up and reach the next level and become the team that no one wants to face.
Considering Denver is going to overtake us, our choices are Phoenix or San Antonio. I think we better drop to 8 to play Phoenix.
David Wesley is why I'd prefer to play the Mavericks. I’m worried about the Allen/Wesley matchup, even more than the Dirk/Howard matchup. His legs are just about gone. His defense used to be strength. Now it's a liability. If Baron Davis can go off on him like he did last night, imagine what Wesley's defense will be like when he chasing around Ray Allen in a 7 game series. They'll have to carry him out on a stretcher.
i'm going with the sonics. tmac will equal allen. if shard isn't 100% then bowen will give him nightmares. yao will take over from inside. we have no shot against dallas with our old legs and no hope for stopping dirk.
Now it really comes down to this. Since we're a game up on the Nugs, now there is a possibility to face the red-hot Mavs or the injured Sonics.
