No, I'd take Biyombo over Motiejunas. I didn't expect Biyombo to be available at #14 though.. one can hope. I just think that Motiejunas has too much natural talent to pass on him at #14 if he's available... but yeah, I'd rather have Biyombo for the defensive presence.

I'd proably pass on Motiejunas if he he's there at #14.

I've had a chance to watch him a couple of times (one time in person early last year) and looked pretty awful to be honest.
Small sample size obviously, but judging from highlights and the stuff that gets written about him he doesn't really excite me.
I think you can do better.

Do you think Jeremy Tyler would be a better choice at 14 than Motiejunas?

I would take Motiejunas at 14th for potential alone.

I wouldn't use a first rounder on Tyler, but I've never actually watched a game of his, so I'll have to judge him purely off his youtube videos and the few articles that have been written about him.

I'm sure Morey and the staff will do their due diligence and I'd definitely be willing to give him a chance if we end up selecting him, though I sure wouldn't be mad if we don't.

Please don't. I need you in your right mind when it comes time to pay that tipjar. Seriously, i was just asking because i was wanting to know if Motiejunas was as good a prospect as Tyler. Of course, you know i still want Marshon Brooks at 14.

The chances that Biyombo is actually 18 are about 1 in 10.

I'd say more realistically Houston's draft will look something like this...

    14. Chris Singleton: SF/PF, Florida State
    23. Nikola Vucevic: C, Montenegro (Reach for a big man)
    38. Best PG available

Isn't it awesome that the NBA has a draft, and we get to steal all the best players from all around the world. Makes you wonder how basketball survives in other countries, doesn't it? :)

I really like Jordan Hamilton. I think he has the size and offensive proficiency to be an all star caliber player. I also think Motiejunas would be a very nice addition to the team. He adds size and length that we are sorely missing and he also has all star potential if he could just improve defensively.

Even if he is a weak defender, he's still 7 feet tall. Guys that tall with offensive skills are not easy to find. He might not be a great defender, but if he sticks his arms straight up he's still going to make it difficult for opposing players.
