    You said a mouthful there.

Until the last two seasons, I hadn't really realized what a flopping, whining beotch Dirk has become. I liked him a lot when he came into the league, but he has turned into as bad a flopper as Vlade. Dirk's a great player, but I just despise him now (ala Karla Malone and Stockton).

Add Howard to that, and I have to vote for Miami.

I think most want the Heat to win, but most know the Mavs will come up with the trophy, they're just the better team.

    Quoted for truth.

We need to get younger and more dynamic. I'd be pissed as hell if we bring in anymore Sura, Barry, and Wesley types this offseason. That route didn't work out, so it's time to go in another direction.

I hear you man. Haslem, Walker, and Williams are infinitely better than their Rockets' counterparts yet I still felt helpless watching Miami on offense, feeling like it would be a miracle just to get a basket. It really hits home the fact that you just have to have guys that can score on their own.

Aside from that, I don't see how any Rockets fan can root for Dallas. I feel nauseous knowing that they're 3 wins away from a title. Titles were all we had to defend our pathetic recent history. If Dallas wins this, that too will be taken away. And noone cares that we would still have 1 more than them because there's would be recent. We would become the redheaded stepchild of Texas with the Spurs still atleast elite.

    Go Heat!

I want to Miami wins, because that way proves to the fakers, especially to Kobe Bryant that Shaq was the most important player in LA.

i think Miami making it to the finals solidies Shaq as one of the greatest players, and i know this is blasphemy, and a notch better than Hakeem. ***ducks head***

the guy has taken every team he's been on to the Finals. even though his production has slipped the past couple of years, you can't argue what an impact he's made.

I hate' em both but TEXAS gets the respect...I'll go with the mavs

If the mavs win, every team in texas has won a championship in a 11 year span.

Well considering I can't stand Cuban, Nowitzki, or Terry, I'll say I'm rooting for the Heat! :)

Go Heat! Mainly for ZO, but I love D Wade's game as well. Loved him since his rookie season.

I don't hate the Mavs but it hurts my heart that T-Mac is never mentioned when people talk about the great players in the league. T-Mac could easily be the best player in the league (damm injuries  )

Shaq has one of the most talented teams in the league.
Also, Wade brought this team to the finals, not Shaq.

why would anyone root for cuban to get a ring? i saw him on letterman tonight talking up how he helped change the nba rules to get rid of handchecking so little b****es like nowitski can be protected. what a joke.

that aside nowitski is every bit as bad as malone and stockton with josh howard closing in.

i don't have a rooting interest AGAINST anyone on miami so i'm pulling for them. shaq can get rings for the next 3 years and it won't move him any higher on the best centers list. chamberlain, russell, jabbar, hakeem, shaq - i think those guys are all number one.

My argument is how can you go through the whole season and root for Houston and damn their division rivals in Dallas and San Antonio. We play a total of 8 games against them. We are in direct competition all year long with Dallas and SA. Every game we play against them all you do is curse up a storm and hope that we lay the beatdown on them. You build up this animosity towards those teams and would rather do nothing more than beat them to a pulp everytime you play them.

How can you turn around and all of a sudden jump on their bandwagon? I mean have you no shame? It's like rooting for your rival gang to take over someone's turf. It's that "if you can't beat them join them" mentality. As long as my gang is still around even though they aren't in the playoffs, there is no way I'm gonna root for the rival gang.

I'd rather some outsider come in and take them out. I have to face dallas and San Antonio fans all the time when I go out to watch a rockets game. NO way i'm gonna turn around and join them in their celebration after all the smack and trash talk we've thrown each others ways.

the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Dallas is the enemy. Miami is the enemy of our enemy. Down with Dallas, f*ckers.

Shaq has been to 6 finals, he's a huge part of that talent. and this Miami team is not talented at all. you've got Wade and Shaq and that's it. i'm not takiing anything away from Wade, but Shaq is about a big of a cog in the machine as Wade. PUt any other center on Miami and they don't get to the Finals (maybe Yao).
