Who do you want: Mavs or Heat?

Will be rooting against Dallas no matter who's on the other side. I think I would even root for the Lakers if they were some how playing the Mavs at this point. If you could remove Dirk, Cuban, and Terry from the Mavs I could possibly root for the Texas team in this series.

 

Heh, lots of conflicting viewpoints goin down in this thread. Each side has understandable reasons for their belief.

I myself, am having trouble deciding who I'm goin for.
Have to pick the lesser of two evils in this case.
Any suggestions?

I'd also like Shaq to be able to deliver upon his promise to Miami to bring 'em a championship. Go Heat.

 

I hope you're right on Miami in 6, but it won't be at home... that game is in Dallas.

I voted for the Mavericks by default.

Dirk is the only one that irks me on the Mavericks.

On the Heat there are a few.

I don't want to see Alonzo Morning and Gary Payton get a ring.
The only emotional outburst I want to see from them are pain, frustration and the face they make when they realize that this was their last chance. I can see the pouts now.

And I don't want to hear that shaq and is better than Hakeem and the "proof" is his 4 rings.

Having said this, The only time I'll spend watching this finals will be the time it takes me to flick from one channel to the next.

 

Any series where Dallas loses, is a good series...even if Dallas gets blown out in four games (that would actually make it a great series).

 

who cares. i don't go around toting how happy I am the Spurs have won 3 championships just b/c they're from Texas, and i'm not gonna start selling my soul for Dallas.

 

I can honestly say that I never asked you cheer for the Spurs or Mavs. Apperantly I care but I could care less that you don't. I am from Texas and love the Rockets but when they are out then I pull for the other Texas teams. You are free to cheer for whom ever you like. I don't care.

Love Wade, love Shaq, love Zo, and next to Gary Payton and Walker (two players that irk me for whatever reason), the Heat don't offend me...AND they play a system similar to that of the Rockets'.

I have been rooting for Miami to come out from the East all along anyways, and since Dallas is my most hated team, it's not even a tough decision...
