Both Ayton and Tobias are overrated defenders.

Both get exposed in playoffs every single time.

Matisse was a better shooter in college than Eason, Eason shot 24% last year, this year shot a good percentage but still low volume

Matisse with ... Currys 3 ball is an all-star, not with KJ Martin's 3ball, not even close

If Stone believed TyTy will have a better career than Eason it would be malpractice for him not to pick Ty in that situation.

    Yes, but context matters.

Thybulle was also a 3 year starter in 4 year college career but never averaged more than 11 PTS a season vs Eason who never started in his 2 college seasons.

Eason was not only a defender but he was LSU's 6th man - instant offense off the bench.

Unlike Thybulle, Eason's primary role was scoring, not just a defensive specialist spotting up for open 3's.

Eason also was much better rebounder.

    Thybulle career - 9/3/2
    Eason career - 13/6.3/1.1

Good point but I think teams would just have to work with different styles of play like they used to in eras before the current era. Each coach had his own philosophy and would plug players in to fit (like Phil, Adelman, Sloan, Tomjanovich). It seems very homogenized now but I'd love to see the league become more differentiated like it was in the 90's and 2000's

Rob Trejo from SpursTV has Jabari going to the Rockets with the 3rd pick on YouTube. It's not based on possible "leaked" news. He has Banchero going at number 1 to the Magic and Chet at 2 to OKC. It's a fan's mock draft. He had very nice things to say about Jalen Green.

I don't see OKC taking Banchero if available BUT could very well see ORL to flipping that way.

After rolling through a lot of YouTube I’d still take Chet 1st if given the choice but have come to regard all 3 as fairly equal. I have no idea who ends up with the better career. Fit isn’t all that important with a roster that isn’t remotely set in stone. The Rockets are in a beautiful position as long as they don’t get cute.

Snatch one of the big 3 and use some combination of 17/Wood/Tate to move up into the lottery and it’s a flawless off-season.

    Still want this guy.

There is a reason why this scarecrow will be drafted #1 or #2 overall.

Exactly why guard usually not the top pick. I like Ivey more than Banchero. I still going to pick Banchero before Ivey. We have too many guards already. I know who aren't there to take about fit yet. But I don't want to play 4 guards in the lineup again.

So maybe I'm crazy, but I'm ok trading down.

    Jalen Duren
    Jeremy Sochan
    Tari Eason

Can y'all imagine this front court? We can have have it if we trade down and trade up the 17. I think I prefer that to Banchero+Sengun frontcourt.

Sochan is the Barnes of this class, also reminds me of Giannis eith his mix of playmaking, ball handling and defense. Eason and Duren are Kawhi jr and Giannis jr clones. The defense is insane and then add Green and KPJ to that mix lol.

I like Duren ok, but have considerable concern about his offense. I think he is more of a Dwight Howard light than a Giannis. I don’t think he develops much of an offensive game.
