Poll results are very interesting here. Shows Les is least trusted. But also shows most people here are ok with Morey and Harden co-managing the team.

Personally, I don't think players should have very much input in front office decisions. They're just not neutral enough to look at basketball situations for what they are. And they are young men without a true sense of physical decay of the body. Too often they decide who they want as teammates after running together and playing pick up games and going to clubs and hanging out. And there's no way they understand the salary cap and the implications of handing out long term money, much less being able to comprehend analytics.

I know Harden is among the top basketball geniuses in the game among players. I give him credit for being bright. But that's the end of it. Harden has proven to me he doesn't know what is best for this team to win a championship with his personnel input and his lack of leadership and extremely narrow scope of playing style. He has demonstrated a stubborn rigidity to a very narrow system of play which does not jive with the breadth of his basketball genius.

For these reasons I chose Harden first. And I chose Les second because Les continually meddles with the most important basketball decisons and effectively neutralizes Morey in those most critical moments.

However all 3 men collectively have taken a nosedive in my confidence level. The decisions that led to the product we had on the floor this last season were all combined agreed-to decisions and they were atrocious decisions, from the re-signing of Brewer and Bev and the talk of continuity by Morey to the pushing away of Josh Smith (and Dwight) by Harden to the trade of Lawson that was pushed by Harden and consummated by Daryl to the firing of McHale, who was Les' choice when he was hired (not Morey's) but was Harden's scapegoat when McHale sought to hold every player (including obviously Harden) accountable for their defensive effort to the non-hiring of any coach that would bring accountability to the table (Les's decision) to placing an assistant coach in an impossible position where he could not bring any accountability to the team because he recognized that Harden was the de-facto co-GM of the team (the same coach that flipped our defense around in 14-15) to the dropping of Thornton because Harden didn't like him, all the way through to making sure we made the playoffs at the cost of losing our first round pick all to satisfy Les's personal agenda which has nothing to do with winning a championship.

These 3 men operating together over the last 12 months have been a disaster. And they are all equally responsible for the season-long turd this franchise kept laying that we are still smelling and will likely continue to smell all the way through the draft and possibly into next session if the chips don't fall right for us in free agency.

 I HOPE THEY GET IT TOGETHER!

    1. Bad, his performance speaks for itself
    2. Good, ditto
    3. Good, about fking time
    4. Meh, just meh
    5. Good, just yeah
    6. Meh, the suck was more than one guy
    7. Sure, why not try?

But more than that, Harden doesn't override Morey, Les does, which allows catastrophic to take place

Poll is incomplete. It needs a Clutchfans posters option... which is the obvious choice.

Statistical approaches only work if you stick to your guns.

Ben graham in the intelligent investor frequently says that if you allow your emotions to make your trades for you, you will never be successful.

Morey is the stats, les is the emotion.

And you know this how? Sure some of your 7 examples seem to be true/or at least somewhat true (e.g.: Harden says he needs help at guard --> sign Lawson) But do you have any info that those things you stated happened BECAUSE OF HARDEN? ...go ahead, say YES....

....Glad ya did, but unfortunately it was reported by multiple sources during the offseason that Harden was trying hard to get Smith back for this season...so clearly you are just throwing ***** at the wall to see if it sticks.

I think it shows how pathetic people view Murphy as to be honest. He still has 1 out of 6 votes with an overweight ball hog and notoriously vilified owner as options for doing his job.
