Who do you cut? Von Wafer or D.J. Strawberry???

Wafer has the edge financially and I really lke his offense. We don't need a lot of playmakers out there with this team, but we do need shot makers and Von is exactly that.

 

I like DJ's defense and length and I will admit that I prefer slashers/finishers to shooters but we do need shooting desperately on our team.That last 3 pointer against the Kings was a world class shot which has sold me on keeping Von Wafer on the team. I'm not implying that Wafer is a top notch player but I feel he deserves a spot right now.

I like Wafer more but I think keeping DJ is the way to go. I would love to keep both though and hopefully Morey finds a taker for Luther.

What wafer bring is valueable. he can spread the floor for yao and kill people who double tracy. i say keep wafer. he compliments our best two players better.

 

I like both players, and they have different strengths.

For me it has to come down to the name. Von Wafer is a cool name. Plus sometimes we can have Rapher, and Wafer on the floor together.

So sadly Strawberry has to be cut.

Keep both and trade L.Head, who were proved not reliable in the past few seasons, especially in the play-offs. Wafer and Strawberry have different skill ability. Wafer is keen on 3-Pts while Strawberry is good at speed and defense. I believe Wafer can take Head's place.

 

Even without their salaries, the Rockets are over the salary cap and luxury threshold. I would cut them both since neither will get any playing time.

 

Luther has a guaranteed contract. You still have to play him if you cut him and it also counts towards the luxury tax while the other 2 don't have any contract and cutting them will cost nothing.

 

Down with this. Francis and Head had their time to shine and have done nothing, now it's time to find other contributors to the offense.

 

I say cut both and sign Deke...

 

I find it odd that neither played in the last pre-season game. Maybe both will be gone for the extra roster spot and saved money
