Who do we target in offseason now that we have to wait?

    I just hope Deron Williams won't take forever to decide where he ends up and we are left like the girl no one wants to go to prom with - again

    I'm tired of this hoping we get someone of substance and then we end up with Hasheem Thabeet or a wish upon a star 1st round 20th draft pic from Dallas that we won't get a star with, or maybe even get

    Our current team can compete with any team, when the rotation is right. We have a team of scrappy, young, hustlers. Why do we need a star? What star right now is taking his the team to the top? Name one? We have a team of guys that each have a niche that makes special. They need good coaching and a strong vocal leader, i would love to see a guy like Garnett in Houston with his attitude leadership mentallity. Obviously hes not what he used to be, but he would be back with Mchale and could pump this team up.

    Moreys plan is to sign DWill outright and then offer a combination of Lowry, Martin, picks, and basically whatever Magic want for Dwight.

    I don't think we use up our cap space until we know where Deron is going. If he opts out, I expect Morey to be on his doorstep recruiting him at the stroke of midnight on the start of free agency.

    We need a star that can score in the 4th to win big in the playoffs, who is that star going to be in the offseason? We need someone that can dominate in the halfcourt when things slow down at the end of a playoff game when every possession is like gold

    Might be a very solid path to tread.

    Gordon is a potential star, Asik has high upside.

    Both are "2-way" players. A Lowry/Gordon backcourt wouldn't be terrible

    Dragic is a beast why do we need Gordon? You need a half court low post scorer with size like Pekovic.

    Morey finally gets to play the role of the predator. Can manipulate the hell out off a front loaded contract to land Eric Gordon. Kid has "Star" written all over him. His peers think he is a star already and with Adidas on board, his star will rise much faster.
