Since your going to put everyone that supports this war into one group and label us war lovers I’ll return the favor.

Possum, I think you missed the point. I believe that the vast majority of the 70% of people who are supporting the present war are not "war lovers". They support President Bush and the country because they are trusting. They have not signed on to the whole World War IV concept that it appears that Rumsfeld and others have gotten Bush to aim for.

I have accused Rumsfeld and the neocons gaming for this World War IV to be war lovers and I'll stick to it. Whether you fit this group for instance I don't know.

First it was Afghanistan, a operation that should have been to get Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, not occupy Afghanistan. Now we have a similar and larger operation that didn't have UN or real inernational support other than Blair and "the coalition of the coerced". We intend to occupy Iraq for at least as long as it takes for it to look like we put in a stable government friendly to the US and Israel and that could take a long while. We are threatening Iran and Syria all according to neocon plan. We are getting sucked further and further into this.

DPRK. Of course, the regime might collapse on its own, following in the footsteps of other communist governments.

i also wanted to awnser Germany:D
but this poll does shows a dangerous thing, Bush is verry agressive. I think alot of people get the impression Bush just wants to fight. What has he done since he became president? He constantly fought a war. and when one was finished he came with a new one. and now he wants to make tax better for the rich people:rolleyes: yeah nice move, so start a war, let that cost alot of money and then make sure the wealthy people in your country do not have les money. let the less wealthy people have negative consequenses.

i wasn't happy Bush got elected, but he is beginning to get worse than i thought

Well, let's see... "I don't what kind of people you and your family are... "

My father saw action in WW2, dumb***. He thought it was so cool, being close enough to the Japanese to see their expressions as he was popping off a heavy caliber machine gun into them, that he didn't mention it until I was in my mid 20's. And I was a kid in the '50's, when everyone one asked, "What did your Dad do in the war?". I told them my Dad was a radar expert who taught radar to men far older than himself and then volunteered to go to the Pacific Theatre and installed them on capitol ships of the Navy in the war zone. That's where they were fighting, dumb***, in case your confused. He and 4 of his buddies were being ferried from the Phillipines to Guam in a B-25, which had no bombs, when someone spotted a large Jap submarine on the surface. The pilot decided that this was their moment for glory and asked if my Dad and his friends were willing to man the rest of the machine guns, as there was only the pilot and co-pilot. They were rated for the weapons so they said "hell, let's do it!". The sub obviously had a mechanical problem that kept it from diving, so they had to fight. The B-25 is a light/medium bomber, dumb***, and was taking on a large sub with plenty of anti-aircraft guns. All the bomber could do was strafe it, which they did, at very close range... getting shot full of holes the whole time. My father said the Jap sailors were boiling out of it like ants, manning the guns as fast as they could shoot them down. My Dad had a waist gun and could follow his tracers right through the bodies of the submariners. They were forced to break it off when an engine caught on fire. They got as far away from the sub as they could before they had to bail out, radioing their position before they did. (which the dumb*** pilot should have done before the action, to call in the Navy to take out the sub)

The first person to hit the water, which had pretty heavy seas, was one of my Dad's friends. The fellow's leg broke on impact, in a bloody fashion, and he was taken by sharks as everyone watched as they were floating down. They were in the water for 8 hours, staying in a group, splashing, yelling their heads off and being circled by the sharks, which made runs at them from time to time, when, just before dark, they were picked up by a PT boat. One of the sailors, a guy from East Texas, reached down with his arm to pull my Dad out. My father said he climbed up his arm like it was a rope, and damned glad to do it. He spent a few weeks in a hospital at Pearl.

He wasn't proud of the fact that he killed many Japanese sailors in an action that should never had happened. He wasn't proud that a good friend died before his eyes. And he didn't like to talk about it and didn't, until he saw his mortality coming on and thought I should know about it. This is a true story and I left out quite a bit. War isn't a video game, dumb***. I could tell you about my Uncle, a Marine officer at Chosen during Korea, but I've said too much already. Your not worth it.

Those are my people, you stupid ****. And **** you.

Damn lack of edit. I meant to say...

Well, let's see... "I don't know what kind of people you and your family are..."

Wanted to quote you correctly, dumb***.

Its so sad that your father had to do that.

My grandfather still has German steal in him. He said it was horrible to blow up so many Germans...but he always said that he was glad he could do it so his children and grandchildren could grow up in a free world.

My other grandfather stated in a letter to my grandmother that he felt he was doing the right thing for his kids. That was before they buried him in France.

I think Bush has given Rumsfield the greenlight to continue...

The message of harboring terrorists is a greenlight in my book...

I don't think we'll go to war again, but something of somekind will be done...Ira

Arno_ed is my name (arno) and then the name my friends called me (ed). so no it isn't a star trek thing, i'm not a big fan of star trek

Dikhard I didn’t insult your family I simply said I don’t know what kind of people you are. I could care less about your dumdass war story My grandfather actually died in that war and I never even got to meet him so F@#K you!

And you have the nerve to call other people war lovers? Sounds like your father is a sick mofo and needs some help to me.

At least you got to know your people, you stupid ****. And **** you. From the letters I have read that my grandfather wrote home he was scared as hell but knew he was doing a noble thing and there was a good chance he would die but he accepted that. He understood the bigger picture. To bad you and your family don’t.
