but in all reality, we'll just probably get another minor piece to the team... I hope not though. I hope this is the offseason we get a 3rd proven superstar, or a future star in the making... NOT another Chuck Hayes!
My 1st class (aka long shot) tier Josh Smith Jose Calderon Ron Artest (might be more realistic than we think if he opts out) Baron Davis (might be more realistic than we think) Juan Carlos Navarro My 2nd class (more realistic) tier Mickael Pietrus Corey Maggatte Matt Barnes (should be had fairly cheap to be everything Luther Head wasn't) The needs go like this: 1) Starting PG 2) Backup Center with low post offense or high pot passing/shooting threat 3) Backup swingman as our 3rd scorer 4) Tall shooter with acceptable defense If the Rockets can't get their first need, move on to the next priority. If the Rockets fix a need through free agency, fix the next need through trade. Then the 3rd need should be addressed by the draft (I can't wait for the draft). Does anybody know a list of teams that would be interested in expiring contracts?
